Went out with my fateher and son for a day of fishing with Captain Smiley on June 19th. Had an absolutely wonderful day. Patrick worked very hard to keep us on fish throughout the day. We were able to catch several species of fish and saw some beautiful scenery as well. Patrick is as knowledgeable a guide as I have... more

Capt. Smiley took my boys and I out on a half day trip and we caught fish the entire time. It was just the three of us and never really ran into anyone else the entire time. It was our first trip to SC, but we'll be back and another trip with Capt Smiley will definitely be on the agenda! more

Fished with Captain Smiley on June 11, 2009 for the first time on a half day charter. All necessary equipment was provided by him. I suggest that you bring what ever you want to eat, drink and your camera. We caught a black drum, flounder and 17 nice red fish. more

We just came back from a week in Myrtle Beach and on the 22nd of April I booked a 1/2 day fishing with Capt Smiley. It was my wife and I and we had asked Patrick to work fishing and wildlife sightseeing into our trip. Even with a 30 mph wind and cool temperature Patrick exceeded our expectation. We only... more

Year after year, Captian Smiley has been providing our family with the most exciting, enjoyable fishing trips. Not only is it fun, but you'll leave with more knowledge about the area's history and native wildlife. He'll recommend the best way to cook the day's catch and let you know where the best seafood in town can be found. He is... more

I was nervous when my dad--who is a fishing-addict--wanted to take my sister and I out for a day of fishing with Captain Smiley (Patrick). I had no idea how to fish, had no interest in baiting a hook or unhooking a fish, and was terrified of feeling seasick. . . but I signed onto the idea, and am I... more

Hi, I'm Chuck Stradley and I've been fishing the world for the past 40+ years. I'd like to share my most plesant trip with you. Capt. Smiley (aka Patrick) is without a doubt the premier inshore fishing guide in the nothern South Carolina region. I have had the pleasure of fishing several times with him and each trip has been... more

I booked a 1/2 day inshore fishing charter with Capt. Smiley while on a "girls only" trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. Three of the gals had no fishing experience. Our captain was an awesome teacher who was more than happy to work with novices!! He couldn't have been more patient and accommodating. Everything for our trip was included (equipment, licenses,... more
