Great layout, beautiful views, challenging holes, fair and rewarding. Caddies are great. They know the course, work hard to know your game and help you make either challenging or safe shots. We were lucky that the wind was down; so it played much easier than many days. So glad I had this experience. Know this: you have to make your... More

My friends and I played this course as the highlight of a weekend golf trip. It was, in a word, unbelievable. We played on a sunny day, teeing off at 9:00 a.m. The wind picked up during the round, but nothing too extreme; it was a typical summer beach day. The course was immaculate. The practice range was also fantastic,... More

Worth the price of admission for the last four holes alone. Obviously, its very well maintained and the customer service is over the top. The caddies know the lines, trust them. Finally, try to play when it's not so windy, its a very tough course when the wind is up.

Played with three of my best friends and was just blown away. This course is rated as the most difficult course in the US. We played forward and with the guidance of two great caddies, Sean and Hugh we had a memorable day. A bucket list item checked off

Played the Ocean course for my birthday, the course was nice, perhaps i had been spoiled, by spending 10 days in Scotland in July, playing some stunning ocean front courses. Club house restaurant and food were fantastic, with one of the most spectacular views i have ever seen from a restaurant window. This is now the bad service. Half way... More

I walked 36 twice while here. The golf course is excellent. Greens were rough as they had been punched.

I'm a 15 handicap, and had heard the course was extremely difficult. It was difficult (I shot a 96) but I honestly expected worse! : ) The course is beautiful, but as one reviewer mentioned, no views of the ocean on the front nine, and few on the back nine. Advice: I played early morning. Play later in the day.... More

Ocean Course was great to play, especially having seen it on TV. Had the same caddie both days and he was awesome. Don't know that I can recommend the course in the dead of summer. Even with the wind it is hot to the point of being uncomfortable. But the condition was great considering the heat. Pace of play is... More

Expensive, but worth it. The course is set up to the highest standards, and the caddies are a great help. Hard, but lots of fun.

The Ocean Course was nice, challenging at times with the wind off the ocean, but not all it's cracked up to be. It was on my husband's "bucket list" so we went to Kiawah just to play it. The food & service at their restaurant was super.
