Armed with hundreds of golf balls and dire warnings ringing in our ears we arrived to play the Ocean Course. In short, it's as good as advertised but not as difficult as was expected. I suspect this was due to the incredibly benign weather - 22c and a gentle breeze off the sea. Our three ball plays 6,600 yards at... More

Played 36 today at the ocean course and all i can say is its an incredible course in very good shape. I found the greens to be in great shape contrary to some prior posts. Used a caddy for both rounds. Take advantage of their replay rate. Great facilities and friendly service. Just driving out there was a treat.

Basically the putting surfaces are very poor and they know it! Blamed it on winter weather but we played a number of the other courses in the complex (except Osprey which we were advised by staff was in pretty poor condition) and the greens were excellent.

Wow! What a freaking terrific course and even better experience! First, what a beautiful maze back to Ocean Drive and Ocean Course! Next, the clubhouse and men's locker room are top notch and helped make a great experience. Third, the customer service from bag drop to check in to servers in Ryder Bar to starter and of course, the caddies.... More

First, let me say that the clubhouse, staff, and caddies were fantastic. We were treated incredibly well and our experience was very enjoyable. However, the MAIN issue I had was that the greens on the course were in AWFUL shape. I know that the harsh winter is not something that can be easily recovered from but I think, as a... More

Play the proper tees and listen to your caddie. I was very intimidated playing the course, but afterwards came away thinking if I played it again i could do better. The caddies know every nook and cranny of the course and most importantly how to play the wind. Forget your Garmin device, the yardage is useless, its what club will... More

The Ocean Course is certainly on most golfers bucket list. It is currently ranked #3 public course by Golf Digest. The green fees for non resort guests are $370 plus forecaddie or caddie fee. We had a forecaddie and they recommend $35/bag for them. The course was not in peak shape because of the harsh winter but it was a... More

This is where good golfers go to die. Played in sustainable winds of 30 to 35 mph with a high of 40 degrees. The caddie was phenomenal and once I got used to aiming 20 yards out of bounds so the ball will, land in the fairway all was good. This made Beth PAge black look like your local mini golf... More

We play this course every February. The weather has apparently taken a toll this winter. Very little grass on the fairways, greens were rock hard and difficult to hold, and the ocean has dangerously encroached the driving range. Despite the absence of wind we really didn't enjoy the round. For some reason the recently renovated Osprey Point is in peak... More

The Ocean Course is spectacular. When you walk in the clubhouse, there is a huge picture window where you can see the waves crashing in just a few yards away. The course itself is difficult, but mostly just around the greens. The fairways are pretty wide and forgiving. The toughness is the wind, and the plateau greens...you're going to miss... More
