Beautiful and challenging! Drink a lot of water. You are required to walk for morning tee times, my preference anyway. The caddy said I should drink 6 bottles of water which seemed like a lot, but was just right. Much harder than it looks. More

I went on a guys golf trip to Kiawah Island the week following the Masters and had a fantastic time. There were 8 of us and we rented a home through VRBO on Nicklaus Lane. The house was perfect for our group and had all the required amenities. We played the Ocean Course on day 2. Because of our early... More

When playing the Ocean Course, remember to use the caddys. The local knowledge will deduct many shots off your score. Knowing where to land the ball and reading the greens will make your golfing experience worthwhile, and think that you are walking the course of the US PGA. More

The whole day is breath taking. Walking and talking with the caddy was a great day. The golf? Its a PGA course, its insane everywhere you look. Really a fun day of golf even for a bogey player you can keep it in play fairly easy. More

The Ocean Course is one of the world's best seaside courses. Set in the dunes along the beach on Kiawah Island, SC, it's hard to find a way to improve this masterpiece. We played there 4/20/12 and the course was in perfect condition as it prepares to host the PGA Championship in August. Unlike almost any other bermuda greens in... More

Yes it's expensive...and yes it's worth it. Be sure to take a caddie, and walk if at all possible. Adds to the experience. More

I have played some of the top courses in the country from Kapalua to Scottsdale to Pinehurst to Orlando and The Ocean Course is the best there is. From the staff to the course itself it really lives up to everything you have heard. If you are a golfer and love the game, this is a must play course. More
