South carolina is known for its beaches...and I try hard to visit them all as frequently as possible. Kiawah beach is worth the drive. And although they do charge u a small fee to park at the beach, the surrounding area & beauty is worth it. Folly beach is also nearby, & amazing in a very different way. But if...

This place is buzzing in the summer and parking spots are in high demands, since this beach is the only beach accessible for public by Kiawah Island and Seabrook Island. It is located by the gate of Kiawah Island. World class beach!
This is a beautiful beach with friendly people and clean beaches. Ample parking and restrooms available.
Beachwalker Park at Kiawah Island is the very best public beach around. They offer changing facilities and a seasonal snack bar. The beach is pristine. Smokers either bring your own clean up bag or stay away!!! It's so nice to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach without trash and cigarette butts. Doggies on leashes may visit too!
Beautiful beach, walk to the river to see dolphins and lots of shore birds. I will definitely make every effort to go back here again
We visit this beach on a weekly basis. The county park abuts an area that allows dogs to run off leash year round. The beach is rarely crowded although the parking lot can fill up fast in the summer. This is a great place to walk the beach. When we went, the far end was closed off for the local birds, but that also meant we saw several varieties of them at least from a distance.
Great place to go to just lay on the each and relax! It was quite, nothing around but the waves and the sun! Loved laying and just relaxing and watching those roll in!
It has been years since I've been to Beachwalker Park. My wife had never been to Kiawah Island, so we went to Beachwalker Park the other day. They have a snack bar (seasonal), outdoor showers, bathrooms and a cool boardwalk leading out to the beach. Picnic tables with grills are out in the parking lot.
