all that is missing is an Ocean view. My sister and I road bicycles from Kiawah to FreshFields for some shopping - easy bike ride, convenient bike rack right at the entrance to the shops from the main road. Many types of shops, clothing, toy, grocery, coffee (even a starbucks inside the market!!) ice cream. It is put together

Really enjoyed going here for the village market. WE saw the fish lady and took shrimp that were so good. The Pickle lady had the most amazing HOT salsa that since we have gotten home we have ordered from her and are anxiously awaiting the delivery. Great spot to just stroll around and shop or go to one of the... More

Absolutely love Freshfields. The grocery store is excellent, albeit a little pricey. The wine shop in the village has an excellent selection and their prices are more competitive than the grocery, the liquor store has an excellent selection as well. Very convenient if you are staying on Kiawah or Seabrook.

Alot of great shops. The grocery store has everything you need and more. We made a couple of trips there during the week.

I spent a couple of happy hours going through the shops at Freshfields. There was a little of everything: groceries, clothing for men, women, and children, local crafts, restaurants, ice cream, gear for outdoor activities, etc. Prices are up there, but quality is great.

All ages from 6 to 76 enjoyed dancing to the Travis Allison band on the green last weekend. Also loved having the wonder works toy store nearby for treats and giant lollipops. The girls and boys loved getting “striped” hair from Wonderworks hair chalk. And to boot we had an ice cream shop in walking distance finish off the night.

The Village is loaded with quaint shops and restaurants surrounding the Village Green (where they have a "fair" of local vendors each Monday during the Summer). This is a great venue for shopping (and they have a large supermarket to stock up on things) and eating. There are two ice cream parlors that are a must on a hot day.... More

Great place to shop for the things to make your vacation even better. For clothing, Groceries, jewerly and restaurants, the trip to this small shopping venue is well worth the trip.

My husband, daughter and I stayed at Andell Inn and walked through Freshfields every evening after dinner. Everyone was very friendly and the town is beautiful and seems so safe. The Harris Teeter is so convenient and the prices are great! Movie night on the lawn was so cute and fun! We can't wait to return!

I haven't been to Freshfields since last year so I was surprised to learn that the grocery had been taken over by Harris Teeter. On the upside, prices are a little more reasonable than they used to be and they offer bonus items if you use a VIC card ( the cashier will let you use theirs). They have a... More
