We stayed on Kiawah Island last week and we loved the Freshfield's Village! It was a short bike or car ride away from Kiawah and had everything you needed and wanted in a vacation village. It was nice to not have to travel too far. It has great places for lunch (Ladles), a nice little coffee shop (Java Java), ice... More

Cute shopping area at entrance to Kiawah Island. Supermarket is great. Staff is very helpful. Lots of shops to visit. It includes a bunch of restaurants as well. Kids have asked to go eat day to get a malt at the pharmacy.

My family loves coming here. They have a variety of store to shop at. When we get hungry we go to the Harris Teeter store and get some salads and some steamed shrimp and make our own little buffet. We sit outside at the tables in front of the store and eat lunch and enjoy the scenery. This is a... More

Not a bad place for basic shopping. We stayed next door at the andell,in. Food at the local bar eatery was average. Nothing special here.

This area has most everything you will need for a week's stay on the island. While this is technically off the island, it is not really on the mainland. Prices are in line with the convenience factor and selections are somewhat limited. You will find more variety at a lower price by shopping for food and dry goods before you... More

This is a convenient and delightful excursion at Kiawah without leaving the resort area. It offers reasonable shopping and all the amenities you may need for your short term food items without having to travel into town.

Freshfields has been a charming venue, with attractive shops & fairly good restaurants conveniently located for both Kiawah and Seabrook, but recent additions cause concern. From an architectural perspective, the new hotel and the new bank are stark, unattractive, modernistic buildings that are not a good fit with the village. Rumor has it that many more additions are coming ---... More

A upscale shopping experience with wonderful plantings, landscaping and unique shops of all types including sporting good, art, sweets, coffee and great food shopping at the village market.

The shops in Freshfields are great because they are unique. They do not have the ubiquitous Gap and Chicos (You can find those downtown), so we were sorry to learn one of our favorite shops, The Old Rangoon, was moving to Greenville, NC because the new management was giving them a hard time about their lease. The new management should... More

My sister and I had some time before our trail ride at Seabrook Island so we found Freshfields. The shops were all very well stocked and welcoming. I will definitely go back on my next trip to SC.
