This was a cute place to visit for a little while. They have some nice upscale shops (the ladies at Lilly Pulitzer were very nice and helpful). The Lilly store was my favorite on this little adventure. I picked up some trinkets and souvineers at some of the other shops too. Everything was a nice experience except my lunch at... More

Great selection of wines and a staff eager to serve you with an impressive knowledge of various wines and their regions. They recently recommended several South African wines that were excellent and the prices were more competitive than other local wines stores. Give it a try-- you won't be disappointed.

It was nice to discover this shopping area. We were staying in Charleston (40 minute drive for us) and did a day trip to explore this area. We were in need of a few items and were surprised to find no stores along the way. So when this cute shopping area popped up we were thrilled! The buildings are very... More

Its a very nice shopping area with a nice grocery store. We enjoyed browsing, most of the stores were a bit too "prep" or east coast for our Texas taste. Enjoyed King Street Grille. Prefer going to Bohicket Marina for evening meals because of gorgeous sunset views from any of the restaurants there. Everything you might need during your stay... More

There is a reasonable supermarket here and a very good bookshop, but the bulk of the businesses are chi-chi boutiques and overpriced restaurants.

Freshfields Village has lots to keep you busy. There is everything from a grocery store to a liquor store with wine tastings, lots of shops and restaurants and a "green" where there is weekly entertainment.

I loved the little village right next to our fabulous hotel the Andell Inn, with all its charm at my disposable. We were lucky enough on our 6 day stay to even attend a farmers market, that was divine. People very charming as well. The ice cream shop is intoxicating, and the local supermarket was a 10-had everything we needed... More

We really enjoyed our visit to Kiawah Island, SC. One of the things that made it more enjoyable was easy access to Freshfields Village minutes from where we were staying on Kiawah. Freshfields is a great place to get away to after a day on the beach. You can get groceries at the Village Market by Harris Teeter (comprehensive selection,... More

We just returned from our first stay at Seabrook Island, and we hope to come back next summer. I brought some of our groceries from home, and picked up the rest at the Harris Teeter at Freshfields. It's very conveniently located to the resort, and I was very happy with the quality and variety of the choices available. However, watch... More
