It's a cute little shopping village - the center of which is a Harris Teeter store (formerly the awesome Newton Farms Market by Piggly Wiggly that really did cater to the local vacationers.) BUT I will say that the seafood counter with Jim or Thelma will still fresh steam you some delicious LOCAL wild caught shrimp. Takes about 10 minute... More

When we read about the shopping "village". We thought oh that will be nice. I little stroll through some unique shops maybe like Bar Harbor or maybe Cape May. But...NO- this has a gorcery store; a Harris Teeter and then a few other shops thrown together in their "village". But really- it's just a strip mall with some random businesses.... More

I have been to Freshfields Village market several times and the place does not disappoint. The quality of the seafood, fruits and vegetables is excellent. We purchase mostly breakfast and lunch food but also shrimp and other seafood. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very helpful. We will continue to go there on our yearly trip to Kiawah.

This is such a fun little place to visit! We really lucked out because it was "Dogtoberfest" while we were there. There were lots of local dog shelters and rescues with furry friends that were looking for their forever homes. It was a great experience... and I'm just so glad to see something like this being so well attended. It... More

This village is a bit Disney like but in a good way. All of the shop personnel are friendly and helpful. Java Java is a great place to sit and read your morning newspaper and the new Harris Teeter has become a great place to shop. If you are staying at either Kiawah or Seabrook, you will enjoy having everything... More

Lots of nice shops and restaurants. Loved that it was walking distance from our hotel. Also there is a very nice open green space in the middle that looks like a mini park.

Easy parking, clean setting, walkable and relaxing. Good grocery store with a comprehensive wine collection, or you could try the stand-alone wine shops. Wow!

I spent a couple of hours walking around the shops. There is lots to look at, several places to eat Ns a good grocery store. It's a nice place shop and hang out between playing golf, going to the beach and biking.

My wife and I stayed at the Andell Inn, which is in Freshfield's Village. We were both really impressed with the overall look and feel of Freshfield's Village. It's a great little towne center and has a lot of different shops and restauarants, as well as walking/biking trails and it is in close proximity to all the golf courses and... More
