Lots of great birds; quiet ambience; nature dictates architecture. A place where your soul can be restored.

This little island packs a big punch when it comes to natural beauty. There are many things to do, such as kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking and so much more! On top of that, is the amazing beach that stretches for miles with white sand! A must see and great restful destination!

Best beach in the USA. Great care given to keep island in its natural state. No commercial entities. Outstanding restaurants at each golf course club house. Jasmine Porch at the Santurary is also wonderful. Recommend staying at the Vanderhorst Plantation section of the Island. Some nice homes reasonably priced on Ocean Oaks Court, only 5 min walk to beach. The... More

Liked everything about the island. The wedding was 4 days of different places within or associated with the hotel. This place rates up there with "The Rich and Famous" and is a place of cleanliness, landscaped, beautiful homes and condos, and beaches, of loveliness everywhere. Food is superb and the people that work all over the island are the greatest.... More

This prestine island get away is beautiful and tranquil. The beaches wide and lovely, with the ocean breeze holding you close. If you love golf, you will love Kiawah....golf is everywhere. If you don't enjoy golf, you might get a little bored, I did. Bring a book because there aren't many stores or places to shop unless you drive off... More

My husband and I hired bikes and cycled round much of the island. There are multiple view points and loads of different wildlife. We saw Dolphins at the end of the beach, a huge alligator, fiddler crabs, pelicans and masses of other birds. It's all really pedestrian and cyclist friendly and the scenery is amazing. The beach is hard packed... More

The design of the island is exemplary. One would never guess at the density of housing as the landscaping masks and enhances the natural environs. The diversity of design and location of homes also is a masterwork. Trails, parks, golf courses, beaches, restaurants and shops all additive to the experience of a natural environment with which the housing is in... More

We are long-time visitors to Hilton Head and this was our first visit to Kiawah and it was a great destination. Kiawah reminds me and has a lot of similarities with Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island. Like HHI, it has ample bike paths, several top flight golf courses and a great island design. One major difference with Kiawah vs... More

Had a wonderful break from the Michigan cold and snow. The resort is well maintained, the food at the clubs was excellent, and the facilities are impressive. Can't wait to come back to visit our friends!
