Kiawah is South Carolina at it's best. Beautiful beaches, lots of bike trails, wonderful seafood in a laid back not too crowded way. We went for only 3 days and I would love to have a week to spend just walking the beach and riding bikes and relaxing.

So many memories and such an amazing place to stay. My family and friends loved every minute of it. Everything is so well thought out and the Kamp Kiawah for the kids was wonderful.

The beach is one of the best in the Charleston area. It is very clean and you can walk for miles. On the island there are no good eating places except near Andell Inn.

I lived in Charleston for 40 years before moving away 15 years ago. I remember when things were just taking off for Kiawah. My wife and I decided to visit for a few days. We stayed in the Andell Inn just outside the gates of the resort area. Kiawah Island is the best beach in the area simply because it... More

We discovered Kiawah just two years ago and it has quickly become one of our favorite places in the US to vacation. A gated island to control what's entering the island has a strong hint of southern charm with a level of sophistication that's comfortable for everyone. Just about everyone is dressed nicely and well mannered. Tip of the hat... More

If you are in the Charleston area you need to visit Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. Such a natural and environmentally. The planned development but a little pricey. The beach at Kiawah is very natural and protected.

it is a nice island but not many options for eating out and will require always driving somewhere. we didn't book with the kiawah island resort and as such were not able to use the pool or receive the discounts on golfing. I don't plan to return to this island.

Except for Maui, Kiawah Island features the best beach in the U.S. The beaches are pristine and large and the water is warm and clean with wave action to entertain body boarders and surfers. And whether you bring your own or rent, riding your bicycle on the hard packed sand on the beach is one of the most interesting and... More
