Last day of our vacation and we wanted to catch dinner to take and cook at home. To say we had a blast would be an understatement. John was not only knowledgeable he was easy going and we enjoyed his company. He put us on Reds, Trout, Lady Fish, and several other shore type fish. While this is was not... More

My dad and I went inshore fishing with Colt. We didn't have the best bite but Colt worked his tail off to put my dad and I on 2 huge Reds! We had a great time and Colt was a pleasure to fish with. Affinity does a great job of making you feel like family.

Had the chance to go out on a trip with Colt on the 10th. It was my Father in law, Brother in law and 11 year old son for a six hour day. Probably the hardest day of not catching much I have had in a while, but it was not for lack of knowledge or effort. Colt worked harder... More

I took some clients out for their first Red Drum fishing experience...Captn JohnFuss was very accommodating and put on fish at very first stop of the day. We continued to catch fish all day. This was my 4th charter and maybe the best. We caught some unbelievable sized Red fish and my clients were very impressed.

We took a 6 hour charter with Affinity Charters with a 7 and 10 year old. Captain John Fuss kept the kids entertained the entire trip. From catching bait fish to start the morning to educating them on the wildlife we came across on our trip. We were on the fish the entire charter, catching over a dozen species, culminated... More

I realize that fishing for fish and catching fish are not the same but $150 a fish was disappointing Capt John didn't take us but a young enthusiastic fellow did-- didn't get to go out to the reef which John mentioned in the prom call to him----wonder if that would have made the trip worthwhile Got some nice views of... Thank you for your comments and suggestions. We always strive to make every fishing trip the most productive and memory filled for each customer. You requested a trip with the most action for conditions and that is why I suggested the reef which is usually large numbers of smaller fish. I suggested a morning start time which you booked for... Despite less than ideal conditions, Capt. John got us on some unbelievable fish! He was great with the kids and incredibly knowledgeable about the natural history of the area. Not only was the trip exciting, but it was really interesting. Definitely worth every penny and we will certainly be back again!

My 14 year old wanted to fish for red fish so he did all the research and we booked with Affinity Charters. It is about a 90 minute drive from Walterboro, pretty easy to find with google maps. On our appointed day of fishing the winds were blowing at 25-30 knots and it was cold making it difficult to head... More

Although our rental house on Kiawah had another company's brochures tucked into the house's info binder, I'm glad we checked out tripadvisor for reviews and chose Affinity Charters. We're a family of 5 (three boys ages 12 and under), and we knew we weren't attempting our first chartered fishing trip during a peak weather window. Nonetheless, we all had a... More

We had one of the best fishing experiences with John. He took us through some very scenic waterways before putting us on the fish! He seemed to know right where they were. I would definately recommend Affinity Charters to any of my friends. Tight lines and good fishing!
