Spontaneous outing with two adults and four teens in the heat of July - what could possibly go wrong? As it turns out - absolutely nothing. Capt Jack was courteous and informative and steered us straight out of the Bohicket Marina into the calm waters of nearby Edisto River. No fear of getting sea sick here as the wind was... More

Captain Jack was great. We did a 5 hour shelling excursion. During our trip a huge storm rolled in and he moved us quickly to cover. The whole trip was fun and informative. Captain Jack is a wealth of knowledge. I would definitely do this trip again.

Three hour afternoon sail with Captain Jack on the North Edisto River. Had a great time and saw lots of dolphin up close. Jack was very knowledgeable about the area and was happy to let everyone participate in the sailing. Would highly recommend this trip.

We reserved a 3hr sailing experience and we had a blast! Capt Jack was so much fun and extremely knowledgeable about the water. The dolphins were up close to the boat once we got out to sea. It was very relaxing. The only downside was the boat is a little dated. Needed a woman's touch or maybe a deep cleaning... More

Took the wife, teenage kids and two kids' friends out for a "sunset cruise" on this sailboat. Captain Jack was a great host and had the chilled out demeanor of a character in a Jimmy Buffett song. We stayed within the Edisto River and never went out to the Atlantic but that was probably better for dolphin and pelican viewing,... More

My wife and children and I all had a very relaxing and fun time. The sailing, alone, was great and Captain Jack knew what he was doing. But the spectacle of perhaps more than 100 dolphins over the course of 3 hours was an unexpected treat that my kids will talk about, undoubtedly, for years to come. Captain Jack was... More

We had a fun time with Captain Jack. The sailboat was beautiful and the water calm. We had many dolphin sightings and the scenerary was pretty. Captain Jack answered all our questions--would have enjoyed his telling us more about dolphins and the history of the islands. Plan to pay the fee on one credit card. The person at the front... Captain Jack was fantastic. We asked him many questions about the wildlife and island life and he answered everything with deep knowledge. It is obvious that he loves the region and knows it well. We had a great sail and were lucky to see lots of dolphins. The boat is comfortable and perfect for family of 5-6.

We saw a sand shark and lots of dolphins. Did not get to use sails much as there was little wind. When sails were up and running we could hear the dolphins surfacing and blowing air out of their air holes. Would recommend this to everyone. ages on this trip: 70, 48, 42, 23 and 17 and all of us... Captain Jack is a seasoned sailor who also knows a great deal of history about the island. The trip was extremely relaxing and fun, partly due to the fantastic dolphin show we experienced. We spent a little extra time just taking in their grace and beauty. If you are looking for a laid back, quiet time on the water -... More
