Unlike many of its siblings to the North, along the SC coastline, here things are a bit slower and more in keeping with relaxing and enjoying ones self, their respective company or simply all that they are experiencing. Here the parking areas come at a premium. Nevertheless, once here, you are readily ushered out into the waters. What a day... More

Fun to go to the beach and watch the waves. Enjoyed the time. It was very relaxing. It was a tad to cool outside for us to swim but we laid out and enjoyed the sun.

I first visited Isle of Palms years ago and was not impressed (I love Folly). Was with a friend and we decided to do something g different and went to Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island. I quickly realized why I didn't come here..... Just not my cup of tea for a beach experience I guess.

This is a nice walk over the marshes, especially after having seafood dinner at one of the nearby Shem Creek restaurants, probably best enjoyed in the cooler evening. Watch folks fish, enjoy the views and marsh air.

This beach is one of the best well-kept beaches on the central East Coast of the US. Beach showers and available bathrooms, throughout, with a second-to-none ocean view, both day and night, makes this beach one of our top ones to visit on the Atlantic coast.

Abundant parking, great beach, warm ocean, clean public restrooms, area to change clothes, and showers to rinse off make this our family's choice to visit when we're on the Isle Of Palms. The parking fee (or, season pass) is very reasonable for the
