Donnie, our guide, took us on a nice tour through some canals. Then let us tool around for a while to get used to the machines, then continued on to a nice beach. Chilled for a while, and blasted back to the dock. Nice machines, just a good way to get out on the water and have some fun. Will... More

Came down to Isle of Palms for a girls weekend and found Tidal-wave Water Sports on TripAdvisor. I don't often post on TA unless it's something really worthy of a comment. We did the Safari Jet Ski tour. Conner gave us a great tour. The water was like glass we saw plenty of wildlife including several dolphin and zipping through... More

We had a horrible experience with the guided Jet Ski tour. The water was rough which is understandable and out of their control but the tour guide was only concerned about making it back in good time. It was incredibly dangerous and in order to keep up with the tour guide my husband had to go incredibly too fast for... More

Gloria, I would like to begin by saying we at Tidalwave are sorry that your experience was not what you had wanted. The Safari tour that you went on is advertised as a "HI-Speed" tour. We do not hide that fact and actually make sure that everyone is fully aware.of it. Especially when we have smaller children or seniors. We... More

Took our young guests for a banana boat ride today. Turned out the adults screamed and laughed at least as much as the kids. Really great fun. (I think now I have a slightly better understanding of what it's like to ride a bronco!) Got close to dolphins to boot. The staff there, Ginger and Abbi, were accommodating, friendly, helpful... The jetski safari was a blast! The staff was super knowledgeable, laid back and fun. The tour itself was incredible as we drove out to beauitful Bull Island and had time to explore and collect shells. We drove through a lot of channels and spotted a few dolphins along the way! I would highly recommend this activty as a "must-do"... More

Came here with my wife for something to do for our anniversary down in Charleston definitely worth it! Newbies to wave runners but was real easy to learn in 5 minutes courtesy of our instructor Mike. He was real nice and let us lose on the jet skis for a good amount of time. Staff is great and prices are... More

The folks at Tidalwave Watersports run a great business...We had a wonderful time on the Banana Boat ride...everyone from Grandma to the kids (youngest was 7 years old) really enjoyed the trip. Grandma got the tamer version and the kids (who rode 2 times!!!) got a wilder version...so everyone was happy. The folks at the desk were very polite and... More

Cant say enough about how fun the banana boat ride was. It was hands down my childrens summer highlight. Matt, our driver read us perfectly and gave us the experience we were looking for. He was fun, always checking in with us and provided a great ride. We had a little guy that was going solo and was on our... More
