On the recommendation of a friend we added this course to our rotation on our previous trip and we were very glad that we did. Once you get off the island its amazing how financially reasonable golf can become and Stono Ferry is no exception. But I would still give them 5 stars for the service though - you might... More

Love the layout, always in good condition, very challenging. Many holes have false fronts where you must carry the greens. The greens are fair, except maybe 14! New landscaping is an improvement.

Recently played four golf courses in Charleston area. I'm so glad this was the fourth day. It was the best of the four we played. Beautiful, greens and fairways in excellent shape and the folks in the pro shop and restaurant were very nice.

Stayed at Kiawah but thought the greens fees on the island were too expensive ($220+), Stonoferry Ferry was almost an hour's drive but well worth it - a very nice course, well laid out, challenging....maybe $70.

Of all the golf courses in Charleston, Stono Ferry is the best!!! Living in Charleston I have the pleasure of playing many of the beautiful and challenging courses in our area. The Links at Stono Ferry, is by far my favorite. The staff is always pleasant, the price is always reasonable, but most of all the course is always beautiful... More

I was in town (traveling from Los Angeles) visiting family and picked a course I thought might be fun to play. I was pleasantly surprised with Stono Ferry even though I ran into a complete downpour on 17 and 18. Special thanks to Rene and Meredith who helped make the best of a rainy situation after I returned to the... More

Very nice golf course and staff. Condition of greens was perfect. The holes (back 9) along the inter-coastal were both challenging and visually beautiful ... will determinately play again when I am in the area.
