While in Hilton Head we recently took part in the happy hour tasting at the winery ... a $30 date. Some of the wines were in fact very good, but the food and value very questionable? Most wineries would provide such tastings free of charge for the amount of wine actually provided for tasting .... might note that some in... more
Went there on a Tuesday afternoon. Walked in, no one there. Stood around and no one came. So left! more
We visited the Winery as something different to do one afternoon.... We opted for the sampling for a small fee... ended upo with a case of wine. Although we went in January 2009, i was thinking about this place as I popped a bottle of their wine tonight--a blueberry one... The kids even enjoyed it as they took us in... more
The happy hour is definitely worth doing, as you get to taste a lot of different wines and the appetizers are actually pretty decent. But the pours tend to be on the small side, and most of the wine is really not that special. more
The hilton head Winery is great time for the adult crowd. They do late afternoon wine tasteings for the wines they make themselves right there on the property. IT cost 15 dollars for about 20 glass samples of their wine. My wife and I went and it was one of the best 2 hours we have spent on the Island..... more
