The Arthur Hills layout is by far the toughest of the three at PD. Bring plenty of balls because you'll need them with all the water around. The course is the most beautiful there with 2, 8, and 15 being my favorites. Put in a lot of miles walking the course as it was path-only when we played. I seemed... More

We played this on the 22nd September whilst staying on Hilton Head Island , we travelled from England just to play golf after hearing about the quality of the golf courses at Hilton Head . This was my favourite , we played all 3 of the Palmetto Dunes courses plus others , all 3 of the Dunes courses are fantastic... More

first time playing here greens had been aerated so got $30 off rate. starter was very friendly and gave us great forecaddy tips. course was somewhat challenging due to rolling fairway hills but very playable. aerated greens played as expected. watch out for allegators - we lost a ball near a pond and a resident came out of their house... This I'd the first time I've paid so much for a round of golf, but the course was so nice, I don't regret it. The fairways and greens were great, and the sprawling "hills" made the play interesting. This is definitely on the top of my favorite courses.

This course at Palmetto Hall was closed last year at this time for renovations and new greens. Was very much looking forward to seeing how it had come out. Not disappointed one bit! Greens are as good as any that you will experience in the South. Very true. Played twice, both times from the tips and found it to be... More

Nice course. But tough. A couple of forced carries and visually tight fairways with water made it more challenging. Greens were ok.

My husband and I wanted to do a golf vacation. Of course Hilton Head is a great place to go to golf. We wanted to play a variety of courses and also fine tune our game with some lessons. I've had many lessons in the past and my lesson with Edward Sires was hands down the best. I really like... More

Nice track. Course was in good shape. A lot of shots that made you think. I liked it better than the Trent Jones course nearby. I would play it again.

Challenging course with subtle elevation changes, winds to make you think about your shots, but never worrying about landing in a badly maintained area to hit a shot. Nice pro shop, friendly and attentive staff.

I have played the Robert Trent Jones and Fazio courses on Hilton Head's Palmetto Dunes Plantation before, but this was my first round on the Arthur Hills course. Excellent, friendly service. Very nice clubhouse and pro shop. Beautiful course in excellent condition. Challenging layout with plenty of water, but not too tough for the average golfer (I typically shoot in... More
