In addition to the rejuvenating...... more » Owner description: We are honored to have the opportunity to share the experience of sailing the waters around Hilton Head Island. In addition to the rejuvenating experience of sailing, your excursion on the Glory BE will allow us to provide continued support to charitable organizations that are focused on children and women. Dolphin Excursions: Year round you can spot dolphins throughout the surrounding waters of beautiful Hilton Head Island. Occasionally dolphins can be seen swimming along side the Glory BE in picture shot range, often times they are feeding in abundance at the mouth of the May River, and on rare occasions they can be spotted strand feeding along the shore lines of the beautiful salt marshes. Don't be surprised or should I say embarrassed if you catch them mating, which appears as if they are playing. On our sailing excursions we cannot guarantee that dolphins will be seen; however, the percentages are high and we'd love to share the experience with you. Sunset Excursions: The sun sets in glorious splendor behind the marshes on the west side of the Calibogue Sound and the May River. It is never the same but always a delight to experience from on board the Glory BE. By the way, the photo in the background on our web pages is of the sunrise over the Atlantic. Rates and Information: Sailing excursions on the Glory BE range from 2 to 3 hours, depending on weather conditions and how much fun we are having. Excursions are scheduled daily in the morning, early afternoon and evening/sunset. Hands-on experience is open and life preservers are available. Rates (4 persons max): The rate per excursion with up to 4 persons is $120. Excursions are booked as private unless otherwise indicated by our passengers. For example, if two persons reserve the Glory BE and they notify us at the time of reservations that they are willing to share with up to two additional persons we will be more than happy to make the arrangements. Amenities: Bottled water and snacks are provided, as well as a cooler with cold packs. You are welcome to bring your own cooler and/or picnic basket, or the concierge will be happy to have it catered for you. There is a cabin that includes an eating area and comfortable cabin seating. There is a small private head facility (port-a-potty) on board for your convenience; full facilities are available at the marina. « less

Smooth and skillfil sailing by Captain Brian and as for a hostess well Liz is simply the mostest. Toward sunser the water got a bit ruff and that is when Captain Brian earned his "skillfil" comment from us. He somehow made the waves always come behind us moving us along without any seabumps. The Glory Be is a real hands on experience, as Capt. Brian lets you handle the till. The boat is medium sized. Comfortable way to experience the wonders of the Calibogue Sound. We saw several Dolphin and lots of beautiful birds. The Glory Be is an excellent adventure and exceptional value. More

The sailboat is docked at a small harbor and is very nice. To get in and out the harbor the boat has to go through a lock ; that is really fun to watch. Captain Brian is knowledgeable and fun. Ample opportunities to take pictures of the surroundings . Dolphins , local water birds , sunset , nature.... More
