Captain Kathy was great! The weather wasn't looking good so she took us out for a short trip so my daughter wouldn't be disappointed. We got a great island history lesson. But, the highlight was when a beautiful dolphin swam right up next to the boat, stopped and looked right at my daughter. The smaller boats are so much better... More

Capt. Kathy was a good captain and also was very knowledgeable of where things were at. We saw dolphins like promised and also manatees. Tiny boat but worth it for a more up close encounter with the dolphins

9 ladies on a weekend trip to HH decided to take a boat tour to see dolphins and a bit of the island. It was Sunday and we had a hard time finding a company for a tour. Either they weren't open Sunday, had bigger boats requiring a larger minimum of passengers or were canceling tours for a little rain.... More

My family and I went on the 3 hour Vanishing Island Tour around the middle of August. I think we just had bad luck that day. We only saw a few dolphins, all of us got stung by jelly fish, and the island didn't quite vanish as much as it normally would. We did manage to find some sand dollars,... More

Capt. Kathy treated us very well. We awesome dolphins, fancy homes, birds and had a great trip out to the vanishing island. The kids had a good time and were well entertained. We appreciated Kathy learning our names and using them throughout the trip.

Took a simple one-hour dolphin tour with Captain Kathy. This was our second trip with Captain Kathy and our second trip with Island Explorer. The one-hour tour turned into more like an hour and 15 or 20 minutes, so we really got our money's worth. Kathy was very friendly and knowledgable and went out of her way to make sure... More

My wife and I took the Sunset Cruise with "Captain Jimmy" on 8/26/14. Our best experience on the Island! My wife is a Life Science Teacher and felt Captain Jimmy was quite knowledgeable and engaging. Well worth your time and money to see a beautiful sunset in a panoramic setting. Joe B...

I booked a one hour dolphin tour after reading the reviews on this site and I wasn't disappointed. Captain Bobby was great, he was knowledgeable and fun. It ended up just being my husband, my Dad, my 3 year old and I on the tour. We took a small boat and got up close to the dolphins. My 3 year... More

Captain Jared was informative, friendly and funny. Our family had a great time on the sunset cruise as he provided local history and ecological facts. An added bonus was seeing alot of dolphins.
