The usual attempt to cast a net and catch bait fish was made, unsuccessfully, but rather than waste more time, Captain Jeff took us... More

Capt Steve and Chris were awesome. They asked what was important - answer have fun. We all did everyone caught fish and they worked to get the Dad's a chance at a shark. Had several hooked and delivered a nice 5 footer. Would highly recommend chartering with them.

Six of us went on a 3 hour trip on the True Grit with Captain Jeff and Matt. It took us about 20 to 25 minutes to get out to the area we fished. Unlike other reviews we did not have to catch bait. Everything was ready to go and we had a shark on the line within 10 minutes... More

Captain Jeff and 1st Mate Matt were indeed first class and made our family outing a memorable one. Excellent local knowledge put us on a hot bed of great fish and was hours of fun for the whole family. We will definitely be repeat customers! Great communication with Captain Jeff throughout the entire booking process.

5 of us spent 6 hours today fishing with Cap'n Jeff, and 1st Mate Steve on the True Grit boat. We had originally booked for the weekend, but Cap'n Jeff suggested we try an earlier day in the week in case the weather didn't hold so we could reschedule.. The weather was 60 degrees and beautiful this February day. Nice... More

This is our second trip with captain Steve on the Gullah Gal and we have had great experiences both years. Steve is a skilled captain with a warm and fun personality. His first mate Ben is a great guy with a good sense of humor. We took the 8 hour trip this year and our son reeled in a 9... More
