This is a reasonable option on a rainy day for kids. My 2-year-old enjoyed it and generally most kids were under the age of 6. We arrived around 11am on a rainy day and had to wait in line. I would say to get there early on rainy days or around 11:30 when it's lunchtime for most and the place... More

Great little "get out of the sun" or rainy day place. Our girls 7 and 2.5 loved it. I think it's geared to 2-7 year olds. Don't know how much an older kid would enjoy but the art room was super cool and I think any girls idea of fun. Good price too. My kids didn't want to leave and... More

We were vacationing in HH And it was raining so we decided to take our 1 year old son to the sandbox. We got there and they were at fire capacity so we had to wait to get inside. The wait was about 30 minutes (we were behind 8 other families to get in). We sat on their covered front... More

My grandchildren, ages 2 /2 and 1 were enchanted by the museum. It is geared to the preschool set, so it was perfect. There are several rooms with activities and structures, as well as an upstairs room with crafts, When they visit again, this is a must do on any day....rain or shine!

we thought this would be a great outing for our two children 4 and 6, but the six year old was far ahead of the displays and interaction. For younger children it was great! Not too pricey either

Great place to take the kids if there is bad weather, or you just need a break from the heat. Many interactive exhibits for all ages, staff were all very friendly and engaging with the kids.

took a 18 month old there and it was worth every dime. I would take your kids to see this if they get bored with the beach thing...

very small, and definitely geared toward younger kids. I have a 2 and 4 year old that were happily entertained, but it didn't take long before we were ready to head out. Great things to touch and play, as well as craft activities. It was very crowded when we visited, so we had a short wait outside. All in all,... More

We went to the Sandbox on a rainy Thursday afternoon. It was a little crowded (mostly the adult caregivers standing around), but it really started cleaning out about an hour before closing. My daughter was a little young (18 months) for some of the stuff here, but she still had a blast playing and exploring. The price was a little... More

Nice to do with small children on a rainy day. I probably would have been more impressed, but with have similar nicer museums near where I live. It was pretty crowded and there were actually more adults standing around watching their kids then there were children.
