We travel to Palmetto Dunes a couple weeks each year for a golf vacation and every time we take clinics and private lessons with Doug. He takes a "green to tee" approach with his teaching, starting with putting, then working up to chipping, pitching and finally full swing. I always heard the expression "14 clubs one swing" before but never... More

If you're looking for something to do with the kids while having your vacation, I strongly recommend taking part in the Little Swingers golf lesson (currently held on Monday afternoons). This was the second year that our son (now 5) took the class with head instructor Doug Weaver and the first for our daughter (3). It was amazing how much... More

Received the two best golf lessons of my life with the head golf professional Doug Weaver this past weekend. One during their "back to basics" clinic, the other an individual lesson. Never has the golf swing made so much sense!

I found these courses in good shape. The staff was polite and helpful. no one rushed us as would happen with a group of 16. All in all I recommend them.

Just had a great time in Hilton Head and the Palmetto Dunes golf experience. Enjoyed all 3 courses but especially liked the Trent Jones course. The ocean views were to die for! Both my wife and I took lessons from Doug Weaver. As a beginner to golf, Doug casual, easy going approach alleviated whatever nervousness she had.She is now looking... More

We played all three courses the week of April 20th, 2015. The pro shop at RTJ is outstanding (half women's and half men's). The employees at all three courses were wonderful. The big problem was the conditions on the golf courses. Robert Trent Jones is in the best shape. The Arthur Hills course had very shabby tee boxes and fairways.... More

Play 4 rounds of golf in 4 days and I enjoyed myself immensely. The 2 course I played here were Arthur Hills and Fazio. I love them both and have played each of them more than once. For 2 course so close to each other they are so completely different. Hills is longer and the back nine can knock the... More

I played the Robert Trent Jones course. The course superintendant enforces slow play during early morning tee times and will not let you play your round in less than four hours in order to give maintenance workers an opportunity to work without being disturbed by golfers. For almost $200 USD/round, golfers should have priority and be allowed to play through.... More

We do try and pair twosomes and single players up so as avoid (as much as possible) an inconsistent pace of play - a practice that allows the maintenance crew to accomplish their daily tasks. We regret that your expectations were not met and would be happy to talk with you about your experience on the course. Please contact Clark... More

I rented a house in Palmetto Dunes for my 7 day stay on Hilton Head Island. I hadn't played golf for most of the winter and was really looking forward to playing a few rounds. However the first day I went to the driving range I just couldn't hit many good shots. I was frustrated since I couldn't tell what... More

Just returned to New Brunswick Canada after a 7 week stay at Windsor Place in Palmetto Dunes. We are very happy with our condo #211. The beach is very nice although we don't enjoy the dogs running around off their leashes. While there spent a fair amount of time at the Trent Jones golf course which is a top notch... More
