Even on the cloudy rainy day that we visited Caesars Head the view of Table Rock was stunning! I would encourage people to go on a sunny day you can see for miles.

After driving up the switchback road to the park office, I was disappointed to find that they only have primitive camping ares. However, handicapped access to the observation point is good.

We went on a rainy day & the views from the overlook were still beautiful. We ate in the picnic area by the park office. We also drove down the road to the Ravens Cliff Falls trail. The drive up the mountain was fun with its windy, hilly curves. We will definitely be making a return trip.

Caesars Head was a nice little trip from Greenville. Not too far, maybe 30 minutes plus a ride through Travelers Rest.

We were driving from Atlanta to Charlotte to see friends, decided to veer north and spend a day in Brevard and visit Caesars Head before we drive into Charlotte. The state park is nice with many trails, but nothing too extraordinary. However, our visit to the Symmes Chapel at YMCA Greenville Camp, also known as "Pretty Place", was really memorable.... More

This is a great place to visit. It is surrounded by beauty and history. The ride up is enjoyable and the air is fresh. The kids love a trip through devils kitchen. The look off point is spectacular.

I have hiked every trail in this Park and would encourage that if you're in the area, to explore all this place has to offer.

This place has a great view of Table Rock and the Matthews Creek watershed. It has a nice little store that sells books and shirts and the like. You can hike down and connect with several trails at Jones Gap Park. Trails range from easy to strenuous. The trail down to Raven Cliff Falls is long but well worth it.... More

This is an excellent spot to visit. The Rte 276 to the top twists and turns and would be a joy to drive with a performance car like BMW or Porsche, especially a convertible. The scenery from the lookout is stunning. My friends from the flatland of Florida were very impressed by the mountains and all the forests below. There... More
