CH has a nice view, especially when the hawks are migrating through or the leaves are changing. A nice place to have lunch, with plenty of picnic tables. MOST of my visits there were when riding heavy miles on my road bike, loving the ride down enough to do all the work of riding up. If you are looking for... More

The Caesars Head pull-off area comes with a fair amount of onsite parking, is RIGHT off the highway, and the view is fantastic. There is a bookstore on site, picnic tables, restrooms, and deck-like observation area with only a few stairs to manage. It's a winding road to get there, but well worth the detour.

The view is incredible. The ranger station has great gifts for sale, plus a very informative map of the surrounding area

This is a great view of the valley and all the trees. The best time to visit is in the fall when all the eave change colors.

This is a great place to go on a clear, sunny day. I was able to see some pretty views of Table Rock, other mountains, and even Paris Mountain from where I was standing at the lookout...you can faintly see the city of Greenville without having to use any binoculars. It is worth the drive from Greenville to go see...just... More

It is a great place to visit. You just can't begin to tell anyone what it is like in that area. They need to see it for themselves. Be sure if you go in the summer to take water and sun screen.

My boyfriend and I often spend afternoons and evenings here during the summer. There are great views and good hiking opportunities.

If looking for a day of outdoor activities this is a good place to start. Nice hiking and a few water falls, nice views. Along the way there we pulled off at a few places along the road to see other waterfalls so don't forget to look for them as well.
