Cyclist love this park. Driving from Greenville to Caesars Head on a Saturday or Sunday is hazardous. The trails in this park are average.

Just beautiful. Even if you are not a hiker, the drive up there is beautiful and you can sit and look out over beautiful South Carolina! Make time to go see this. The drive is long and windy but not at all dangerous. Bring your own water and a snack. There is a bathroom at the ranger station.

This historic area has outstanding views of the Piedmont part of South Carolina. The nearby wilderness areas give you plenty of opportunity to take a hike. There are plenty of waterfalls to explore here also.

Standing on Caesar's Head for the view; is certainly a great piece of the trip up a winding curved road through the forested hills of NW South Carolina. Just as interesting; and it won't take you that long; is a walk through the information center and a review of the history of the area; and the lives lived in these... More

The trip to the top of the mountain is 45min-1hr from Greenville, but definitely worth making. We visited on a hazy day but the view was still spectacular.

The trail we took led us to a wonderful vista that included a waterfall. The trail is in good shape and not too tough, though all the tree roots made us glad we wore our hiking boots.

The overlook is worth the visit. Would also be a great place for a picnic. Several hiking trails are available from here. Nice park -- well worth a visit.
