Best views in the state! The Dismal Gorge stretches out hundreds and hundreds of feet below and Table Rock State Park and the whole city of Greenville are visible from the observation deck. We hike from the park on the Raven Cliff Falls Trail to the end where the observation deck has amazing views! The fall colors are amazing, spring... More

This is a remarkable place to visit. The view (literally) goes on for miles! Have been here several times. Fall colors here are stunning. Take care in the cooler weather as ice does form here. Also, the drive up is steep and winding and you will want to ensure that you have good/functional brakes on your vehicle for obvious reasons.... More

We went to Caesars Head State Park while in the Greenville area, the fall colors were almost at the peak. Some what good weather a bit cool and breezy. All in all a very good time.

Cyclist love this park. Driving from Greenville to Caesars Head on a Saturday or Sunday is hazardous. The trails in this park are average.

Just beautiful. Even if you are not a hiker, the drive up there is beautiful and you can sit and look out over beautiful South Carolina! Make time to go see this. The drive is long and windy but not at all dangerous. Bring your own water and a snack. There is a bathroom at the ranger station.

This historic area has outstanding views of the Piedmont part of South Carolina. The nearby wilderness areas give you plenty of opportunity to take a hike. There are plenty of waterfalls to explore here also.
