Stopped by here briefly before dropping one of our son's off a nearby church camp for the week. You sometimes forget how beautiful our part of the country really can be. Would love to spend more time here in the future.

This is not a traditional state park. If you like hiking and backcountry camping then this is the place for you. Caesar's Head State Park is joined with Jones Gap State Park with trails and campsites between the two. Caesars Head is about 20 minutes from the NC/SC state line (not too far from Camp Greenville - aka Pretty Place).... More

Simply a beautiful place! Nice little gift shop. A bit primative in the way of places to sit, picnic, etc. but that is the beauty of it.

This is by far the best place to get a view of the entire Upstate area and surrounding mountains. It is a drive up a winding highway, but is well worth it. Once you are here, it is just a short drive into Brevard, NC.

Best views in the state! The Dismal Gorge stretches out hundreds and hundreds of feet below and Table Rock State Park and the whole city of Greenville are visible from the observation deck. We hike from the park on the Raven Cliff Falls Trail to the end where the observation deck has amazing views! The fall colors are amazing, spring... More

This is a remarkable place to visit. The view (literally) goes on for miles! Have been here several times. Fall colors here are stunning. Take care in the cooler weather as ice does form here. Also, the drive up is steep and winding and you will want to ensure that you have good/functional brakes on your vehicle for obvious reasons.... More

We went to Caesars Head State Park while in the Greenville area, the fall colors were almost at the peak. Some what good weather a bit cool and breezy. All in all a very good time.

Great views of the plains with trails to walk. RT 276 is full of switch backs and steep not for RV's. On the way up from RT 11 stop at Fred W. Symmes Chapel (also known as "Pretty Place" because of its amazing view). Take a right at the border take the road to the YMCA camp. Follow the road... More
