I have lived here for over 4 years and never knew about this place. Went for the first time last weekend. I loved it. The show is great and we were able to see Jupiter through the giant telescope. So much fun.

The Holiday Lights were fun!!! Definitely worth the money to drive through. I would not take time to get out of the car and visit the inside area...it left a bit to be desired. Santa was in a bad mood, I am sure it had been a long day! The lights are gorgeous and our daughter was in awe!

Last evening, about 6:15pm, I took my 2 Granddaughters to "see the lights"…something we have done for quite a few years. This sight gets more popular each year, thus bringing more cars….I sat thru the traffic light at the off ramp from I-385 for 3 rotations trying to turn left, onto Roper Mountain….cars were backed up, all the way to the... Riding through the Roper Mountain Science Center Christmas lights display is an annual treat at Christmas time. There are a large variety of Christmas light displays as you drive through their grounds which are enjoyable. There is an area called Winter Wonderland where you can park and walk to an area where Santa is to have a picture taken or... More

Great experience! They changed the entrance and moved some things around. It is so much easier to get in and the displays are great!

My family and I have a membership to the Roper Mountain Science Center. We always have a great time at the Second Saturday events and on Starry Nights when we go. Some Second Saturdays seem a bit repetitive and there may not be a lot going on, but the big special events really make up for it! This is such... More

Love the lights at Christmas time. It is a neat setup where you can basically just drive through if you choose, or park and walk around. great for parents with you kids, you can see the lights without too much hassle. They also have a cool since center and planetarium.

I have visited Roper Mountain with my 8th graders for standard based field trips. They are very organized and easy to work with in the planning. I personally have taken advantage of the teacher workshops offered in the summer time that are EXCELLENT in content information. Outside of school there are so many things to do on the mountain in...
