My wife and I have lived in Greenville for 12 years and I worked downtown so we're somewhat familir with local history and cuisine. However, when our daughter gave us the Greenville History tour we were pleasantly surprised to learn some new things while sampling a variety of food from Table 301 restaurants. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon.

We are living in Greenville and took this tour with our son visiting from Minneapolis. John Nolan is the group leader and gives a history tour as well as a culinary experience of the foodie town Greenville has become. For me the out of the box best tasting was Nose dive (NOT O SOMETHING ELSE). I have to admit the... More

My fiance and I joined The Greenville Culinary Tour on Tuesday and I am so glad that we did! John imparted a ton of knowledge about Greenville along side fabulous dishes at the restaurants. I definitely recommend this to anyone. Its a great opportunity to try places that you might not have never been, but also if you've been there... More

My husband and I booked a trip to Greenville for my birthday weekend. I was looking on-line for activities to do during the day and came across the Historic Tour, so I booked it, not really knowing what to expect. The tour far exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide knew so much about the history of the city and made... More

John really catered to our group who was in town for a wedding. We all hail from Boston, so we were looking for the best BBQ around, and John certainly went above and beyond to provide us just that! Our BBQ tour was delicious, and John was knowledgeable and interesting to chat with about the history of Greenville and of... More

John has a casual, easy-going approach to sharing his meticulous research on the history of Greenville. All the little-known yet delicious historical tidbits he related bring the city's past to life in a most delightful way. Thank you, John, for an unforgettable and relaxing evening that will not be soon forgotten.

To learn more of the incredible history of the "Textile Capital of the World"--Greenville, take a walking tour with the very knowledgeable John Nolen. He begins his one hour walking tour at Falls Park and has fabulous photos of what Greenville was just a few short years ago. Cost per person is very reasonable.

The West End Walking Tour is a pleasant addition to a Sunday afternoon spent downtown. My friends from Pennsylvania and I enjoyed John Nolan and all he had to say about the west end of Greenville in times past. He even had old pictures, prints and paintings to share! Highly recommended!

Our school class took a tour of the Falls and the history of the old mills that were used years ago. The children were engaged and we learned things about Greenville we didn't know! Definitely worth the money!
