Can ask for a better way to spend the day walking or biking. This trail is a jewel! Lots of flora and birdwatching! Lake Conestee Nature Park at the southern end is a favorite of birding groups. The park has 192 or more identified bird species and is recognized by the Audubon Society.

The Swamp Rabbit Trail is wonderful if you enjoy walking, running or biking! There's some great stops along the way to enjoy, too.

This trail winds for miles along a small river and through parks and other recreation areas. It runs through the City of Greenville and also runs through Furman University. The trail is well used by walkers, runners, dog walkers and bikers and there is in most cases plenty of room for all to enjoy. The only exception would be on... More

This is an amazing place on which to exercise, exchange greetings with other pleasant people, observe surprising and unexpected sights (Railroad car? Restaurant? Fighter plane? Mini-museum?) and more, whether walking, running, cycling or anything else muscle-powered. My sister and her husband drive 75 miles each way to use the trail. But you can discover that from countless other reviews, so... More

Enjoyed a relaxing walk through downtown today on the trail. Greenville did a great job with this one. As an added plus enjoyed some ice cream down by the zoo.

Every town should do this. It is a creative way to reclaim derelict space and turn it into popular and useful recreation space. You can rent bikes and if you don't want to go the whole way, probably the best scenery is from the Traveler's Rest side.

I love the swamp rabbit for bicycling. I ride a towney and just cruise nowadays so i really have to watch out for the "skinny tire" people going way too fast on the trail. It can be dangerous. The trail is very well maintained. On the weekends it can get pretty crowded so going on a weekday is the best.... More

The food and ambiance here are incredible. The Café is owned by two sisters who love food and people. You feel as if you have known them your whole life.

Excellent gem that goes from downtown Greenville all the way to the beautiful Furman University campus and beyond. It's an EASY 12(ish) mile bike ride, mostly shaded.
