A few friends and I from Lexington, SC went to Greenville to ride the Swamp Rabbit Bike trail and we had an awesome time. I had read previous reviews because I am not a very skilled bike rider but my friends are. I was a little nervous based on previous reviews saying the trail was narrow and there were dangerous... Starts in downtown Greenville and links to the Blue Ridge foothills in Travelers Rest. You can rent bikes if you don't have them at the Swamp Rabbit Café which is near the midpoint. You can also enjoy a nice sandwich, coffee or Smoothie there. the part along the Reedy River in downtown Greenville is quite beautiful.

This trail is very nice. The landscaping is wonderful. We loved the Falls Park on the Reedy. The city of Greenville is a true gem. Hoping to move there in the next 1-2 years. This trail just helped us to see how great the area is.

We rented bikes and took advantage of the GHS. We rode for three hours, stopped along the way at a local grocery store and met some interesting bikers while we rested. The trial is actually about 20 miles and we probably only saw a third of it. You will have to cross some roads when you ride it.

We walked different ways each day. Loved going through the Children's garden! The other way through the park and falls was absolutely spectacular. Found a plane!

What a wonderful resource this is for families who want to spend time outside with the kids on a trail that is very pedestrian and bike friendly. Strollers, scooters, bikes, and feet will have an easy trip on this oh-so-user-friendly trail. Although We are seniors sans kids, we enjoyed every minute of out leisurely stroll along the Main St section... More

Whether you rent a bike at a shop along the trail, bring your own bike, roller blade, run, or walk this is a great place to do it. You can access at so many points, there are stores at spots that cater to those who use it, and it's well maintained.
