Easy walk for all ages! Paved walk - some slight hills, a few challenges for the 80 yr. old. Took our time and included a visit to the Zoo.

I LOVE this trail!! We ride our bikes several times per week from end to end then back. My only issue...the occasional walkers who don't know trail etiquette. Please don't walk 3 or 4 people wide. And when someone says "On your Left" you are supposed to move over for everyone's safety. This is a wonderful way to spend the... More

Nicely laid out. It goes through downtown and the Falls. There are a few places to rent a bike near the trail. Or it's a beautiful walk. It appeared quite safe with police patrolling on a regular basis, at least around the Falls area.

You'll love it! A mix of children, families, college kids, and seniors enjoying the outdoors while getting exercise. Many attractions to visit at each end from downtown Greenville restaurants and shops to the tiny but charming town of Travelers Rest!

Swamp Rabbit Trail is one of the best places in Greenville for a morning jog or bike ride. It is very safe, and a great place for kids and pooches to burn off some extra energy!

We rented bikes from Sunrift in Travelers Rest and rode up to Furman and back. Everyone had a great time, even though it was one of the hottest afternoons of the year. Our 9-year-old is a new rider, and I hadn't been on a bike in 5 years; still, we managed just fine. Trail is very flat and user-friendly. Other... More

Swamp Rabbit Triathlon was held at Furman University. Part of the run segment was run on the trail,. Our entire run on the trail was in the shade. We've biked the entire trail and found it delightful. Only once did we make a wrong turn off the trail.

A lot of the reviews say that this is a beautiful trail, and it is. Shaded most of the way, with lots of scenery along the way. But it is also scary in spots. North of the city, there are a couple of road crossings where the cars are flying by at 50mph. Obviously some stoplights (for the trail) or... More

We walked from our downtown hotel to the Swamp Rabbit Trail near the Falls Park. We then continued on to the Greenville Zoo on the Trail. It was some great exercised and beautiful. Would love to go back and bring our bicycles.

While on vacation, we found this walking trail one morning. It was so nice to get our daily, morning walk in. We felt safe and everyone was so cordial that we met on our walk.
