As relative newcomers, this was our first time on the trail. We parked at Greenville Tech campus and rode to Swamp Rabbit Cafe & Grocery, had breakfast, and rode back. This is an awesome multi use trail. There were parks, picnic areas, points of interest, and offshoots along the way. We loved exploring. Part of the trail starting downtown is... More

The trail just keeps getting better....longer and with many more choices of great places to stop for a rest, or a cool drink or a bite to eat. Easy parking in downtown Greenville or near Furman. I'm not sure I'd park in the small little spots along the trail though as leaving a car in some of those places while... More

Swamp rabbit is a great venue to see a different side of Greenville. You can get your work out in, a little shopping and a nice meal too. With a flat landscape the swamp rabbit is great for all fitness levels and all ages.

Our favorite activity on a Saturday is to bike the Swampt Rabbit trail. We ride bikes on the section that connects Greenville to Traveler's rest. The trail is longer, but this is the most commonly traversed section. You'll find people walking, jogging, and biking. There are all skill levels represented, so you won't feel out of place. If you need... More

What a nice trail and boardwalks from Greenville. We road to Travelers Rest. We had breakfast in TR and then biked back. Did see several policeman on bikes along the way. Can't wait to comeback I understand they plan to extend the route to North Carolina !

One of the best trails my wife and I have walked. We enjoyed the water the trails, the ducks and all the people were very friendly. We liked it so much that we now have discussed moving to Greenville, SC as our new home.

I am a very casual biker. I've ridden this trail about a dozen times between Cleveland Park and Travelers Rest. I've ridden once between Cleveland Park and Conestee Park. The trail from Greenville to Travelers Rest is well maintained and a pleasure to ride. It's an easy ride for even small children. In my experience, its quite safe. The ride... More

Scenic and shady multi-use trail. There are a few crossings on busy roads that I wish had 4 way stop signs, so that drivers would not run through without stopping. There is even a train crossing, but you can go along the road, over a bridge and get back to the trail if a train is stopped. I wish it... More

Easy walk for all ages! Paved walk - some slight hills, a few challenges for the 80 yr. old. Took our time and included a visit to the Zoo.
