What a great way to spend an afternoon! John was so pleasant and knowledgeable and threw in history along with the dining experience. The food was excellent as well. You won't leave hungry! Well worth the money and time.

I grew up in Greenville and have seen it undergo quite the change over the last 10-15 years. What I love about this tour is that anyone from the hometown native to the casual tourist will be treated as a guest in a fabulous and growing town. This tour combined an impressive blend of historical reference with a filling, robust... More

We were given this tour as a Christmas gift last year and decided to use it to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The food was GREAT, the drinks were DELICIOUS and the history about Greenville was very interesting. I really enjoyed talking with the Chef's and learning a little more about their... More

As a lifelong resident of Greenville, SC, and being well-steeped in local lore & history - it was a pleasant surprise to gain more tidbits of local history from John Nolan. Along with morsels & spirits from Table 301 restaurants, John guided our group through a truly wonderful evening along Greenville's Main Street. Our group was comprised of locals &... More

This tour hands down was amazing!! Every bit of it, from the food, to the different restaurants, to the history behind Greenville, and of course the amazing tour guide, John!! It definitely didn't leave me hungry, and I learned a ton about Greenville that I didn't know even after being here 10 years!! I will definitely be back, and I... More

The Chef's Table Culinary tour has now become one of my FAVORITE Greenville activities! The food was incredible and I definitely didn't walk away hungry. I loved the personal touches including meeting each of the personable chefs and the option to purchase a signed cookbook with recipes from the restaurants. I thought I knew Greenville pretty well but the added... More

I've lost count as to how many times I have attended John Nolan's Culinary Tour. I keep coming back, and especially enjoy exposing this wonderful tour to fellow foodies and out of town visitors!! The food & hospitality of all the restaurants are top notch and John's humbleness for his love of food and Greenville is infectious! This tour is... More

The Chef's Table Culinary Tour was a GREAT way to celebrate my mother's 82 birthday! The food was plentiful, uniquely prepared and served by knowledgeable chefs who add to the experience with their obvious passion for their craft. John is an amazing host who knows Greenville history and has a great sense for blending history, casual conversation and a few... More

Exceptional way to experience some of Greenville's restaurants. John did an excellent job with the restaurant selection and providing some of Greenville's history. Nice, easy walk in a beautiful city. Go hungry and don't have plans for dinner because you'll be full. Will definitely do another tour with John on our next trip to Greenville.

My husband and I had the best time on this tour. Being able to interact with the chefs was a great experience. The portions were larger than we expected. John was a great tour guide and painted a picture of how Greenville came to be the quaint city we visited. We plan to re-visit soon and do another tour with... More
