My girl and I bought a seasons pass to the park as we live right near it. There are many great hikes that can be taken. Alway friendly people, pet freindly and a HUGE destination for Mountain Bikers. We found it best to go during the school year and on week-days as it is absolutely vacant. Weekends get a bit... More

It has nice picnic shelters you can rent. A large lake to hike around or fish in. It has many hiking trails. Our son and daughter in law got married on the lake there. We also celebrated our grandsons birthday there as well. Very pretty, especially in the fall.

This is a great place. We go for Mother's Day each year. The shelters are great, they have a pond for swimming and paddle boating, tons of paths for hiking, and it's beautiful!

this park is part of the SC state parks, and as such you can buy a state park pass and visit as much as you want... (Strongly recommended if you do, as I at least one mountain bike session per week). during the week the single trails are not all that highly frequented and the MTBers who do use them... More

This is a good location close to downtown with redone facilities! It $2 to go in and just hike or another $2 to swim as well though swimming is only open seasonally. I love going to this park to trail run as well plenty of flat areas and just enough incline to make it worth while!

We have been there twice now.... this time with our dog for a nice hike. This is a wonderful little gem that offers not only fun hiking trails but always has swimming and camping. Extremely beautiful little lake. An added bonus were the Canadian geese atop the damn where the waterfall is. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially families with... More

The park is located about seven and a half miles from downtown Greenville and attracts a large crowd on weekends and holidays(we were there on Memorial Day) Fortunately, we were there early(around 10am) and found ample parking. We also grabbed one of the few picnic tables surrounding the swimming area. Later arrivals had to content themselves with blankets on the... More

Paris Mountain State Park has wonderful trails for hiking and biking with friends or family. The value is incredible since it's only a few dollars for a full day of fun. The northern lake is great to hike to for a half-day hike.

This a favorite place of mine. I go here to clear my thoughts and soak up some nature. There's a giant rock that sits beside a stream that I like to sit on and just think. Mother Nature at her finest.

This was a very nice park with an easy hike around the lake. We enjoyed the waterfall coming over the dam and reading about the history of the CCC. It was a bit aggravating that they only had recyclables garbage containers and you had to drop your paper garbage upon exit at the dumpster. The camp ground looks very nice.
