It was a nice area, but the lake was really muddy and did not feel clean. Perhaps it was the timing of our trip. The hikes were good, but the views were not outstanding.

This park has hiking trails from easy to strenuous, a swimming area separated from the boating area, picnic tables, camping, lots of shade - and all just minutes from Greenville! Our grandchildren love to go there.

Good hikes without driving too far. My favorites are Brissy Ridge and Sulphur Springs trails. These both have strenuous sections that will get your heart thumping! Saturday is a good day to hike since mountain bikes aren't allowed on the trails that day. During the swimming season the fee is $5 a person, but off season is $2. This is... More

This is a great park that is very close-by. Small admission fee to cover park maintenance is more than fair. Park wraps around a fair sized lake and there are lots of various facilities (RV and camping, firepits, etc.) and parking. Ride your bike, walk the dog or have a quiet run. Take your own chair and spend some time... More

We really love Paris Mtn. State Park. It's really close to Greenville yet it feels like your miles and miles away. I will sometimes leave work early and go up to the Park and hike one of the trails and still make it home for dinner. We take an annual church men's retreat here every year. The campground is really... More

Excellent park if you're looking to find relaxation and fresh air. The small campground is peaceful and quiet at all times of the day. Excellent hiking trials, beautiful mountain views, and great geocaches located throughout the park.

Not at all far from Greenville and Taylors SC. But when you're there, you feel like you're thousands and thousands of miles away. Great place for lots of activities. Even nice just to ride through and look at nature. Great for family, couples, teens, small kids, and older adults. An all around great place to go.

Visiting family in Greenville and they took use here. Great spot to relax and enjoy nature. Had a nice walk along the lake and can't wait to go back.

Lots of nice walks in the woods. Ample parking, good directions. Nothing too hard for a family. If you have an extra day in Greenvile, Falls River Park is a nice option, but if you have a car, check this one out.
