A nice place to visit with family or friends. Especially during fall and around Thanksgiving time. It's nice to breathe some fresh air and get away for a few hours.

We went for the afternoon - nice variety of hiking trails and difficulties. The park has swimming, mountain biking, waterfalls, kayaking, paddle boats. Can park at various elevations within the park.

Good trails for running , but certainly not difficult. Expensive too, 5$ per adult but I hear you can get some year permit. Parking lots and pole barns for gathering pepper the trails.

We camped at Paris Mountain State Park over the Labor Day weekend 2014. We love going to the Apple Festival in Hendersonville, North Carolina and Paris Mountain is a short drive south of there. We pulled our travel trailer and when we arrived we found that the site we had booked would not take a travel trailer. We'd called ahead... More

I went to Paris Mountain State Park as part of my sojourn of seeing all South Carolina Sate parks. When I arrived, I found the office nearly inaccessible to the handicapped, especially those driving RVs. The parking lot is a small gravel area down a steep drive. Since I was driving a RV I could see that here was no... More

My daughter and I went to Paris Mountain State Park for the day. We packed a cooler and a blanket along with our nature journals and a frisbee. We rented a kayak which was very nice on the small lake...very relaxing. We walked the mile long trail around the lake and saw lots of unique and interesting things. Beavers live... More

I like to go to Paris Mountain State Park because the fishing, especially, bass, is awesome. Reservoir #3 is the best one to fish at; However, this is about a 4 mile hike through the trail to get there, so if you catch any fish that you want to take back, just keep in mind of the 4 mile hike... We went just for the swimming and although there was a nice dock for diving, there was no sand, a lot (and I mean a lot) of goose droppings and to get to the water you had to walk down a lot of steep steps which made it impossible with a stroller. Had to change the baby on a bench... More
