So many interesting artifacts from the Civil War and the gentlemen who provide the tour are very very knowledgeable. Loved Mr. Boone, he brought history to life! For a group of "northerners" it was a very differnent view on the "War of Northern Aggression". One well worth learning about, as there was such a human cost for both sides in... More

This is an excellent museum with a vary large collection of Confederate artifacts. The extensive collection is extremely interesting and well displayed and presented. Anyone interested in American history will find this to be a worthwhile stop. We highly recommend the museum.

The museum offers a lot of history and artifacts from that time period. You can also research your family name and see if your ancestors fought in the war.

We went to this place on a recent visit to my Sister in Law who lives in the area. Looking at the outside of the small building in this residential neighborhood, I was not expecting much. Like many of the other reviewers observed, I too was quite surprised with the amount of unique exhibits and weapons this place has. The... More

This was a great stop while we were in Greenville SC. Being from Wisconsin this museum gave us a very good look at the Confederate army and the ingenious ways that they used what they had to make weapons and the determination of the soldiers. This is a great place to learn more about this important part of our history.... More

This is a tiny little house turned into a museum. Every inch of space holds some part of Confederate History. It is all volunteer and the volunteers know their history and are more than happy to talk to you, help you understand what you are looking at, and show you around. There is no charge for this museum but a... More

Definitely learned a lot here, amazing history. I'm hoping to bring my Dad there. Large collection of weaponry , uniforms, and more. They offer a free tour guide if you interested, giving you a great history lesson behind each item. Wonderful folks volunteer their time there. My husband and I were glad we went. Of course as always some of... More

The museum had 4 or 5 rooms packed with a lot of Civil war guns, uniforms and many other items. It was a well worth while visit. No charges to get in, but they do except contributions.

The Confederacy is a complicated book, long closed to most Americans. This museum--which is not an apology for the "Lost Cause"; there are exhibits revealing both the "good" and "bad" (whatever those terms mean)--is balanced, nuanced and valuable

I was very impressed with the amounts of displays in this small Museum. The men here know their history and are enthusiastic to share it. This place is chock-full of South Carolina history, southern history, and Civil War history. Learn the reason for secession from real southerners. This place is a hidden gem worth the visit when traveling to Greenville.
