What a lovely little museum full of confederate history! The docents were very helpful and enjoyed talking about the various photographs and displays. They had a wonderful story about a missing stuffed animal that reappeared after a Christmas event. Don't miss this if you're in Greenville.

From the publicity I thought that this would be more political but it was quite neutral. There are a great deal of guns and photographs with a couple of comments. The staff was very friendly and open and showed me some things There is a lot but could be better organised and I personally am not impressed by seeing gun... More

Found several new facts about the Civil War that I did not realize until after visiting this museum. Very interesting. If your child is studying Civil War, I highly suggest a visit.

Museum is small but has a huge number of historic things related to the Confederacy. The docents all have extensive knowledge and endless fascinating stories. Worth the trip if you are in the area.

We spent hours here, seeing some of the most fascinating artifacts and talking with very knowledgeable staff. I'm so glad we made this a stop during our trip.

Had a wonderful tour and time at the Museum learned a lot of interesting facts about certain flags and the history of the South and the true reason they went to war so many years ago.

We stopped here at the end of our day in Greenville and ended up staying for a long time! Don't let the small building fool you - it's packed to the max with a fantastic collection! There's something interesting for everyone, even if you're not a civil war buff (we certainly aren't). The volunteers there are so friendly and welcoming,... More

Upon arrival I almost didn't go in because it seemed so small. Would have been a mistake. Quite interesting, lots of neat pieces, and the guides are enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Apparently they're self-supported, so even though it's free, be sure to leave a contribution. They want to expand but need the finances.
