My 5 year old son really loved his trip to the Children's Museum of the Upstate. We participated in their Stories and More activity, which included reading The Snowy Day and making stamped snowflakes on construction paper. Otherwise, we spent the rest of our 5 hours exploring the museum and doing whatever he wanted. He didn't have any complaints about... More

We have visited this museum 4-5 times over the past few years with the kids and grandkids. We have been so impressed that we gave them a season's pass. Every time we visit there are different exhibits. I'm glad to see the climbing structure has been repaired and reopened.

We have been to almost 10 children's "museums" in the Southeast and this is one of our favorites. There is enough to occupy a child that can get interested in play for a whole day! We have come here several times. If I remember correctly, though, it is a little pricey because adults have to pay (a dollar less). That's... More

My 4 year old and twins that are 2 yrs old really enjoyed their visit. Lots to do for all their different ages. Café closed so really no lunch options except to walk across the street to the library which has a small café. Bring a change of clothes as the water tables will get your kids drenched even with... Thank you so very much for this wonderful review. We are often asked what age is too young for the museum. So, knowing that your 2 year old twins had so much fun is a great testament to what the museum offers. Particularly if you are able to catch any of the early childhood education programs that are free with... More

We have an 18 month old and I was a little reluctant to visit until she was a bit older. I am glad we did, she loves it! there is so much to do for all ages (walking and up). There is a cute toddler area where they can splash in water, build with blocks, etc. We love story time... More

Wow! Your "favorite place in Greenville" is the ultimate compliment. Thank you so very much, we strive to provide clean, safe exhibits and fun programming for all ages. Miss Karen and the program guides do a great job with story time, we're so glad you were able to catch one of the daily sessions at 10am, 11am and 1pm. Hope... More

Really good interactive displays. Lots of different displays and themes to keep kids interested for a few hours. A manageable space and secure space so it is still fun and free for kids to explore.

I was somewhat reluctant to visit the Children's Museum out of concern that my 16 month old wouldn't have enough to do. But I was in for a wonderful surprise. Children under 2 are free, so there was no cost for him. It was $10 for me and $9.50 for Grandma to accompany him. (Family memberships start at $150 which... More

My kids LOVE this place. It is high class, high quality, arguably as good as the Discovery Place in Charlotte. The kids went on and on about how much they loved this place.

There are some really interesting and kid-engaging interactive displays. Something for everyone from race cars to construction to climbing tower to farm. Pricey, but worth it.

Everything here is kid-friendly and interaction is encouraged. My husband's favorite room is the water-exploration area, and the kids love the giant climbing structure in the middle. Each area is full of educational fun, and the kids don't even realize they're learning. It's a blast every time.
