This is one of the best adventures we have shared with the grandchildren! Fun and educational at the same time, with exhibits centered health, nutrition, cooking, money use, physics, water and the environment, recycling, to name a few. We spent about three hours there, leaving only because it was closing time. The facility itself is modern, clean, well-maintained. There were... More

Nice place to take the grandchildren while they were visiting. Just wish they had more seating so you could sit and watch the kids on the jungle gym type structure.

Thank you for the 4 star review! We appreciate your patronage and the positive review. Because of comments from other Grandparents about seating, we enlisted local artists to create custom benches that represent each exhibit and placed them strategically throughout the museum. Unfortunately, we are unable to place them around the climbing structure due to the soft landing provided by... More

Have been several times with my son between the ages of 3 - 6.. Many things don't work - disappointed. I will try the "Grossology" - not sure of name. If that doesn't work, probably won't go again. He likes the climbing apparatus but price too high for just that. IMO, price too high for toddlers.

Over three stories a couple blocks off of Main Street in Greenville and nestled next to the Art Center and Theatre, the Children's Museum is a simple and excellent museum for young children. The main ground floor currently houses an area dedicated to racing, flight, and space. Another is a small market where children can learn about shopping. The last,... More

Wow! What a great description of the museum! At 80,000 square feet, it's the 7th largest children's museum in the USA. So, you made good time going through it in an hour and a half! We're so glad your family enjoyed it and appreciate the candid review. We've only been open for 5 years and are still building awareness for... More

My family enjoyed the Museum tremendously. The only reason I didn't give givee stars is that some of the activities my 6 & 7 year old were to old for. Definitely worth a visit.

We have been lucky to visit many museums with the kids and we loved this one. The museum really fit the ages of the children. We visited on a Saturday morning and it wasn't crowded at the time of visit. The museum was very colorful and inviting. Visiting other museums we have always found things that didn't work but here,... More

What a wonderful review that is greatly appreciated, especially from someone who knows her museums! We strive to keep the museum clean and exhibits in working condition, which can be a challenge during the busy summer months. Our Facilities Maintenance team is wonderful and react quickly to any issues. As for not being crowded on a typically busy Saturday, it... More

Lots of different themed areas for all sorts of interests! Hands-on fun with racecars, art, water, airplanes, spaceships, camping, grocery shopping, construction sites, climbing, building, science, etc. There are 3 floors and I guarantee you won't have enough time to do it all justice. Once you have your wristband, you can leave (like for lunch) & come back in the... More

This is our 3rd children's museum this year. This was an impressive museum. There are 3 stories packed full of activities. Our grandchildren are 4 and 1, and they both had a great time. The 4 year old loved the climbing structure. She also loved singing and making her own cd, which we purchased for $5. I found several benches... More
