Took two of my grandkids (ages 10 and 11) on a visit to the Children's Museum. They had a blast! I think that 10 and 11 may be the top end of the ages that would most enjoy it. Seems to be built for that age and younger. Lots of activities for them to participate in.

I have to admit, the inner child in me enjoyed visiting I think as much as my 4 year old enjoyed it! The museum has various exhibit areas - all of which are meant to open little children's minds and appeal to their sense of adventure, creativity, & fun. Highly recommend.

Looking for fun on a cold or rainy day? Head to the children's museum. You can't go if you don't have kids so if you need a kid, volunteer at an after school program and take a field trip. Well worth the money.

We recently spent a rainy day at this museum. Our three grandchildren -- ages 7, 3 & 2 loved it. There was something for every one of them. The water play was particularly fun, though I suggest that children all be dressed with short sleeves to truly enjoy this section. (They have waterproof aprons, but long sleeves always seem to... Our daughter had her wedding reception at the Children's Museum of the Upstate - what a great place - the exhibits were available and it was a wonderful layout for a DJ, dance floor, caterer, tables, etc. The staff, especially Mary, were wonderful to work with and were very professional and personable. If you are looking to hold an event... More

Whether you are a toddler or elderly adult, you will enjoy this museum. There is always something more to learn and hands on is such a fun way to learn. The museum is clean, safe, and VERY friendly.

A great activity for any Saturday or just a rainy day. Children of all ages enjoy the many interactive exhibits including the several traveling exhibits each year. Plan to spend from 2-4 hours depending on the level of interest in each section. The facility is bright and well designed. The only advise I can offer is that if the museum... More

A great museum! Took 6 & 8 year old and they LOVED it. We only had intentions of spending 1-2 hours and we were there for 5 hours. We could have stayed longer!! I think the adults had almost as much fun as the kids. Some exhibits were aimed at younger children. However, with 3 floors of activities there was... More
