We love visiting TCMU! Featuring new exhibits throughout the year and fun programs for children of all ages, this three story hands-on learning, play place is an ideal family attraction in the Upstate. Each visit is filled with new and exciting adventures. TCMU IS reasonably priced, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC.

I flew a plane and drove a race-car ... had my picture taken on the most amazingly beautiful benches throughout the museum. We were there for a private reception so nobody noticed that I was not a child.

I took my mom and my almost 3 year old son in January 2015. The facility is very nice for toddlers and young children. We really enjoyed the exhibits and the price seemed fair for what they offer.

Liked that there was such a variety that it took in something for children up to about the ages of 8-10. All volunteers there are eager to help. Parking is way in the back and you have to walk to the front. There is no elevator from the far end of the parking area to the bottom level. One must... More

Thank you for the 5 star review! Our volunteers will be happy to hear the nice comments as customer service is a #1 priority here. We apologize for any inconveniences you experienced walking from the library parking deck. Parking in any downtown metropolis area can be tricky, so we feel fortunate to have a designated parking area provided by the... More

Our toddler LOVES coming to the museum! And kids under 2 are free, so we only had to pay for ourselves. She absolutely loves all the play places and interactive exhibits. So much fun!

Thank you for the great review and pointing out that there are lots of activities for toddlers. We hope you were able to make it to one of the daily early education programs that are included with admission. If not, please come back and try one at 10am, 11am or 1pm. Please note that as of Jan 1, 2015. Toddlers... More

Lots to do. We spent over 5 hours exploring this fun place and getting the wiggles out. The kids favorite was the climbing area and the staff was amazing!

Wow, 5 hours! That might be a new record! We are so glad to hear that your family was entertained for hours while getting much needed exercise during these cold winter months. Sometimes it really pays off to be the nation's 7th largest children's museum! More

I love this place. There is so much to do in a few hours. As the mom of an 18 month old boy it is sometimes a challenge to find age-appropriate fun but the Children's Museum delivers. There is a great toddler area for kids under 5 years old only - grandma Betty's farm. It is nice to feel safe... More

We love these kind of reviews, and really love our members. So happy to hear you joined our family and will be visiting regularly. With a toddler, be sure to check out the daily programs for children age 5 and under. They are very popular! Before you know it, he'll be old enough for our Little Sprout half day camps. More

Kids LOVE this place no matter how often we go. Good for kids up to teens. One exhibit always changes which keeps things interesting.

We LOVE kids and it shows when they love us back. Thank you for this awesome review. Be sure to catch our featured summer exhibit "Hello from Japan!" and then another new on in the fall. More

My 5 year old son really loved his trip to the Children's Museum of the Upstate. We participated in their Stories and More activity, which included reading The Snowy Day and making stamped snowflakes on construction paper. Otherwise, we spent the rest of our 5 hours exploring the museum and doing whatever he wanted. He didn't have any complaints about... More
