My husband and I spent a wonderful afternoon (or part of) at this museum. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and interesting. You get to tour 2 houses. The first is the oldest and has lots more interesting details. The grounds overlook the water. It was very relaxing. Well worth your time if you enjoy history of old houses and decorative... More

Our guide was very good, and patient with our many questions. It's a beautiful setting, and the house is filled with beautiful things.

We visited the home during our first week in Georgetown. We were able to learn a great deal about the background of the home, the families and the history of the area. The tour guide was new but well briefed. We were able to ask questions and have them answered thoroughly. There is also an excellent gift store on the... More

My husband went to play golf at Wedgefield Plantation so I went to Georgetown nearby. The Kaminski House is in the Historic downtown district. The tour guide Diane was a delightful lady that really knows the history of the house. It isn't a giant plantation house but the antiques inside are beautiful and you get to see the house next... Excellent tour of an historic home on the waterfront in Georgetown. We had a fairly knowledgeable guide. This home was right across the street from our B&B.

Small Museum with lots of memorabilia. Good if you want to kill an hour or so. I like the Original log books, very interesting.

The house tour includes the history of the house and family, as well as the period furniture. I would recommend this tour as part of a day spent in Georgetown, SC.

We stopped by to waste a little time before a tour we had scheduled later on in the day. We were immediately taken by the charm and kindness of the ladies in the museum store. Our docent was kind, engaging and knowledgeable. She kept by two boys (ages 6 & 17) involved throughout the tour. The house and the antiques... More

The curators of this historical home offer an excellent room-by-room tour. Our guide spent over an hour explaining the history of the home's construction, its antique furnishings, and the families that lived there over many years. A must see if you're planning to visit Georgetown or any of the surrounding areas.

Interesting home - the house of one of the 6 Jewish mayors of Georgetown. On the water, it's not always open, so check if you want to visit. Cute, tiny gift shop.
