The Swamp Fox tour of Georgetown costs $10 per person and runs every hour on the hour from 10 AM until 4 PM. There is a Jeep that pulls a "tram" which will seat 14.

This tour is a MUST for anyone visiting Georgetown!!!! It is a great way to learn about Georgetown and South Carolina's history. This is the best way to learn about Georgetown in about an hour. The tram driver takes you around the historic section of the town and tells you very interesting details about the town, several buildings, the buildings past/present owners, and different events that took place at the buildings. The tours runs every hour. You ride in a small tram. It was only $10 (I believe). It ran about an hour. It was very entertaining. The guide seemed to know everything about Georgetown (and the South). He pointed out the architectural styles of various decades. We also went inside a church that used to be used as a "schoolhouse"...
