Nice Pier with a local feel and free livd music. Only Pier that does not charge to just go out for a walk

The pier was nice, a typical bait shop, $40 for two rental poles, licences and bait-you can use them for the whole day. Walked Garden City Beach which was nice, too. I imagine it's not much different from the other piers, but it was a nice break from our condo and the beach/pools.

Enjoyable public pier with lots of hustle and bustle. We fished it all morning with little results but I think the fishing was slow for the entire area that week. We did really enjoy watching the large sharks at the end of the pier.

First of all, Garden City beach was better than Myrtle beach as its more friendly and less crowded. At the pier you can fish, which most people do, or play at the arcade or get something cold to eat like an Italian Ice. Its a pretty fun place to take the kids or even a date if you both like... Great place to relax and have a good time! Great music with dancing on the ocean! Live music at each end of the pier.

The pier and arcade is a great place for families with small children, teens, or just adults for a night out. Bands on the end of the pier are always fun. Very relaxing atmosphere every day of the week!

This is a HUGE pier. We thoroughly enjoyed spending an entire evening watching Karoake at the bar. We watched lots of people fishing and enjoyed seeing all the different kinds of fish they caught. There were lots of jelly fish and BIG sharks swimming around the pier the night we were there. I definitely wouldn't want to swim near this... More

Love this place. They have an arcade to entertain those young and young at heart. Small gift area with items for the fisherman as well as snack options. Nightly there is entertainment at the beginning of the pier (band or karaoke). Also, nightly at the end of the pier there is a band, dance area as well as a bar.... More

The pier is free to walk out on, unlike most piers at the beach. There is a reasonable fee for fishing, which can be done for 24 hours at a time, if you're up for it. Large game room with great prizes, restaurants, bars, live music, and gorgeous views. Friendly staff. Nice little gift shop. All fishing equipment can be... More

Fireworks and food were great! A real family friendly environment. Whether fishing from pier or listening to bands, a food time was had by all.
