The pier of Garden City Beach is always busy with people. Fishermen line the pier while fishing. People walk the pier to take in the sunshine, breeze, and salty smells. The pier has a seasonal cafe as well as bar. There is karaoke during the season which is quite fun. Inside the pier, is a gift shop full of snacks,... More

The pier is always a fun place and watching the fishing is a relaxing way to spend some leisure time. Bands at both ends, but if you want a real drink get it at the front.

This is a great place. The food is all american. It's decent. I would eat it again. The drinks are strong at the bar near the arcade, weak at the end of the pier. The music is awesome. It's really fun. A great time for the whole family!

This pier is free to walk on. It has two bars at night with music. The drinks are a tad pricey, but you are on a pier. Great place to fish, relax and have a good time listening to music..

Great to take family or a date. They charge a fairly good bit for fees and rod rentals which can be pricey. It cost me about 30 bucks to get a little bait, a rod and to go out to the pier...a tad much. They have a nice bar with some awesome scnery, but drinks are a bit expensive. I... More

We kicked back for a quick lunch at the snack bar as you enter the pier. Food was tasty and enjoyed sitting on the very comfy "lifeguard chairs" that line the railings on the deck. It was shady, caught all the breezes and had a great view of the pier and all the people enjoying the beach. Seemed like a... More

This is such a beautiful beach! The beach that people who live on Myrtle beach go to when the crowds are to much there. Although it is always a bit more crowded around the pier just a 2-3 min drive further down and the beach and its great! We loved that the beach was flat making it easy to navigate,... More
