The park is nice and has a nice campground right on the ocean and very nice especially for children. The other side of the park is nice and has some nice trails. Very nice park and very clean. More

After visiting Edisto Beach and Island, it is an average beach, nothing amazing about the area. There is a small fee to enter the state park, but if you drive only another two minutes, there is plenty of free parking and access points within the community. The drive to Edisto is about 1 hr from Walterboro and there are no... More

Nice trails...long or short, enjoyed the relaxing wooded area. Bird watching and nature. There is a fee to park. More

Loved this beach, lots of shells and very quiet. We had some friends staying at the campground, and they absolutely love it there. I'm not a camper at all, so we stayed in a house close by. More

For a nominal fee this is a great place for young families or just a couples getaway. Not overcrowded during Easter break, it was a nice place to get sun and surf without the commercially overrun beach. Saw visitors from as far away as Canada, West Virginia and Colorado. More

This beach was so beautiful! It also wasn't very crowded. It was my first time at the beach and it was more than what I expected! The park was really nice! More

This park is located right on Edisto Beach, and it is beautiful. It is well maintained and is within walking and biking distance to restaurants and the grocery store. More

There are five beach front camp sites in Edisto Beach State Park. These sites are separated from the beach by sand dunes and vegetation which provide a nice buffered camp site for most of the sites. Sites 1 and 3 are my favorites, but they are usually reserved far in advance (at least a couple of months). Site 1 is... More
