has lots of bike trails and parks for kids. is right there on the water, very clean, and breezy. wouldn't recommend for tent camping cause of the blowing sand, but RV camping is great

We stayed for 8 nights at the beach campground. The higher numbered sites are more private by having a lot of surrounding palms and oaks. We were at site 59 and very pleased with the area. The people working there were very courteous and helpful. Even though there is no store on the campgrounds there is a BiLo grocery store... More

We stayed for three nights at Edisto Beach State Park. We had a great experience in the Live Oaks camp ground. The staff was very courteous. The site we chose was very clean and mostly level. Trees and other plants kept us secluded from the other campers, so we had lots of privacy. The bathrooms were clean and it was... More

Our first time in the Forest Campground was OK. They had lots of rain for several weeks prior and the ground was soggy but the campground is still nice. The bath house is almost new and very nice. They did a really good job smoothing out and filling in the entrance road. You can get several ( 6 )TV channels... More

We spent two nights in a cabin at Edisto Park. The cabin was charming but beyond that it was the cleanest accommodation I have stayed in for a long time. I couldn't find even a smudge in the bathroom. The cabin and furnishings were very tasteful but more importantly, very comfortable. If you enjoy nature, the trails that wind through... More

My family and I love to tent camp, but generally we do it at the lake. However we have camped at Edisto beach front camp ground several times and really enjoy it. Close to the water, clean sites, nice bath houses, and convenient! It's defiantly a place we will continue to camp at!

This is one of my favorite camping spots. My grandson has nearly grown up here. We try to visit at least twice a year. Just keep in mind that campsites are reserved way in advance, so don't really expect to pack it all up and take off to the beach on the spur of the moment. We also enjoy day... More

I just got back from Edisto Beach State Park and really enjoyed myself. After checking in with the Ranger Station which had a very knowledgeable lady helping me, I stayed at the beach campground in spot 38. The weather didn't cooperate very much, but I still walked the beach which is the best shelling beach around. The spot was level... More

Me, my wife and 6 yo daughter took a guided bike tour from Wyndham resorts through the park. Our tour guide was unbelievable. She was a previous employee to the state park and was very knowledgeable on all the native animals and plants. We got a behind the scenes peek at the visitors learning center. Will definitely do the tour... More
