Nice size park. Pay one play and you can go to all their locations. If you like to hike, there are lots of trails. if you like that romantic walk on the beach, or looking for shells, this is the place to go.

Overall, this is a great state park that is split into two areas, both beautiful. The beach is very clean with facilities, and the marsh area is just as serene. My wife and I stayed in cabin #4, which was the perfect size, included nice furnishings, full kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom (shower stall). The location in the woods is very... More

We camped at site 69 on the Beachfront side of the park. This is not actually Beachfront. You cannot see the water from your camper. But you can hear the waves and that is what makes it so nice. This site is right next to the beach path so you are very close. It is a very short walk to... More

Enjoyed the beach with family while camping here. Biking or walking the trails around the Live Oak campground are a must. Be sure to visit the Interpretive center.

The cabins at Edisto Beach State Park give you a top-notch experience in cozy, quaint, and quiet. After camping there several times, we were able to snag one of the very popular cabins. The cabins have renovated interiors that are beautiful and comfortable. The views are spectacular and the wooded clearing setting is spacious, lovely, a bit off the beaten... More

PLEASE READ ABOUT 5 STARS. I gave this park 5 stars for what it is-a park. This is a peaceful island community about 1 hour from any major towns. It has no fast food and only a few restaurants. It is one of the nicest most well equipped parks in North and South Carolina and Georgia. It has beach camping... More

Edisto Beach State Park has two areas for enjoying and camping. One is more "woodsy" and the other is across the street on the ocean. Both are beautiful places. It's fun to be by the beach, but the woodsy area is more private and protected. It's just that the prices for electric and water hookups are, in my opinion, way... More

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving week 2014 in Edisto... I had been there maybe 18 years ago or more, but only for day trips to the beach in the park. The beach area of the State Park is very pretty with LOTS of picnic tables just steps from the beach, some outdoor grills and bathrooms for visitors to use.... More

We stayed off the beach because it was a cold day. It looks like a place I would spend lots of time at in the summer. We checked out the rental cabins, which are very nice. The trails were hard-packed sand, a very comfortable surface for walking, riding or biking. They have a nice environmental center and we arrived during... More
