Nice variety of snake species and I really enjoyed the outdoor habitat for the tree snakes. Friendly staff and the snake show was entertaining and informative.
On holiday with friends on this small island holiday resort in South Carolina. Not much to do if you don't play golf! - I don't like snakes but was persuaded to go to this Serpentarium mainly because I wanted to see alligators. Very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the entrance charge very... More
This is a very nice exhibit with a family-owned feel to it. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The best part was the presentation about local snakes. The presenter was fantastic. We also saw the alligator feeding, which the kids enjoyed. You can probably see the whole exhibit/park in 1-1.5 hours. The gift shop was extremely nice.
A lot more then expexted...friendly staff...Educational visit...reasonable price...must see in Edisto
My husband and I stopped at the Serpentarium on our honeymoon and were more than impressed. My husband and I are reptile owners and would recommend it. The owner keeps the place very well maintained. We attended the snake presentation and the alligator feeding and found the presenter very knowledgeable. It was great to see an animal enthusiast so passionate... More
We really enjoyed the entire day there. The alligator feeding was fun. The educational talk was interesting and informative. We loved it all...especially the snake pits. Please take the time to check this place out.
A terrific break from the sun and sand. My 8 yr. old grand thoroughly enjoyed it. Took in snake show and alligator feeding- a big hit with him. You can come and go during day to get all the shows if you'd like.Friendly, informed staff.

They did, but they also had roomy outdoor areas with alligators, turtles, etc. We watched them milk poisonous snakes and explain the process. I have decided not to become a snake milker. The staff also fed alligators and told us all about... More
This little attraction was really good for snake people. It had an indoor cage display, and outdoors were alligator exhibits and turtle/tortoise exhibits. The coolest exhibits were the open air snake pens. One for venomous and one for non venomous. It even creeped me out a little, and I like snakes. The alligator feeding show and the snake show were...
