The snake show was great. It's very informal and you get to do it at your own pace. It's a little pricey so don't forget to use your AAA card for a discount.

12 pm. That is the time you have to remember. At that time they feed Big George. A huge alligator. At 4pm they feed the other alligators, no Big George. At 11, 1, 3, and 5 pm they do the snake show, and at the end you get an opportunity to hold a snake. On this last visit we went... More

This place was very well maintained and very interesting. They have an education program that helps educate you with reptiles. There is nice inside area with snakes on display and then an incredible outside area with huge snake pits. Plan on a couple ours minimum for your visit. they have a nice gift shop also

We really do not care for snakes, but the exhibit offers lots of educational information especially about the snakes in the Southeast. We sat in on the educational snake lecture and learned quite a bit about both the venomous and nonvenomous snakes. The alligators are fed at noon and 4 pm daily; guests can enjoy the show as the gators... More

Nice variety of snake species and I really enjoyed the outdoor habitat for the tree snakes. Friendly staff and the snake show was entertaining and informative.

On holiday with friends on this small island holiday resort in South Carolina. Not much to do if you don't play golf! - I don't like snakes but was persuaded to go to this Serpentarium mainly because I wanted to see alligators. Very pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the entrance charge very... More

This is a very nice exhibit with a family-owned feel to it. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The best part was the presentation about local snakes. The presenter was fantastic. We also saw the alligator feeding, which the kids enjoyed. You can probably see the whole exhibit/park in 1-1.5 hours. The gift shop was extremely nice.

My husband and I stopped at the Serpentarium on our honeymoon and were more than impressed. My husband and I are reptile owners and would recommend it. The owner keeps the place very well maintained. We attended the snake presentation and the alligator feeding and found the presenter very knowledgeable. It was great to see an animal enthusiast so passionate... More
