A nice little place to visit, if you are in the area of Edisto and need something to do. Kids enjoyed it a lot.

We've been here twice. Once was enough. There are some pretty cool animals to see, and watching the alligators eat is awesome, but "been there done that". Even our children were hurrying through and underwhelmed the second time.

Only open during warm months of the year with limited hours. Took our granddaughters in the summer and they loved it. Found it interesting, many alligators and snakes. I felt it was overpriced:(

I was not sure about going to the serpentarium but my granddaughter wanted to go. I was pleasantly surprised. It was exciting, fun, and very clean. I learned a lot about snakes, alligators and the like. I would go again :)

No visit to Edisto Island is complete without a stop here. Excellent shows teach all about snakes and alligators. Come when the weather is warm to watch the alligators being fed. They stop feeding them when the temperature drops below 80 because alligators can't digest food when cold. The attraction closes down for the winter when the alligators go into... More

A very nice attraction, the shows were very will set up with a great explanation of all of the animals there. All in all, a great way to spend a few hours.

Very enjoyable for me, wife would not agree, she hates snakes. Easy walking tour, spent close to 2 hours here.

We weren't sure what to expect when going to the serpentarium, I just kept telling my two year old we were headed to the "snake zoo" and hoped that I wasn't telling a lie. To our surprise, it was a really fascinating and educational place full of snakes, turtles and alligators. I will say that my husband is the snake... More

Wow what a disappointment to have this closed on a Wednesday. This must be a hobby and not a business. We got the children ready and had to pack them back up after we read the sign on the door and not the lighted sign out front. Along with the dirty diapers in the center of the parking lot we... This place definitely exceeded expectations. It seems like an odd attraction on Edisto Island, but it was surprisingly big and had a ton of reptiles. It's a break from the beach and worth the trip.
