I will start by saying if you have never been to Daufuskie Island...GO. If you go to Daufuskie...you must stay, eat, play, do something at Bloody Point! My husband and I found Bloody Point while searching for wedding venues. We were looking for somewhere off the beaten path with lots of character, and that's exactly what we found. We made... More

I took my leadership team (12) to the Bloody Point Resort for our staff 2016 business planning retreat for the second year in a row. There was a reason I did: they nailed it the first time (last August). Guess what? They nailed it again. Kevin McCarthy and his team provided many layers of attention and TLC: - Our baggage... More

I could mention a ton of other highlights in my stay at Bloody point (golf cart adventures, glow-in-the-dark golf, excellent service, actual golf, etc), but one of the surprisingly strong memories to me was the shrimp...yes...the shrimp. I'm not a food critic or cook, so forgive me for not giving more details, but their 'BP shrimp' was amazing and the... More

Our organization came to Bloody Point for the second year - the staff was extremely attentive to every detail. Excellent facilities. Golf carts to explore the island in the evening. Got to walk on the beach and saw lots of beautiful deer. Coolest thing was seeing the deer at night, turning off the golf cart so it was perfectly quiet... More

I schedule boating outings with between 20 and 30 participants for a couple of different organizations, and we always schedule a lunch sometime during the cruise. The Eagle's Nest Restaurant at Bloody Point Resort is by far the most popular lunch stop because its kitchen serves up excellent quality meals, its service staff is quick, friendly and efficient, and the... My wife, I and 4 kids(14,16,18 and 20) spent 2 nights on Daufuski with Bloody Point Golf Club. They arranged our lodging at a local condo and our water taxi from Savannah. Since all transportation on the island is via golf carts, I rented 2 golf carts, so that we could split up and explore the island. That was very... More

I really don't know where to begin, but maybe the beginning is the best place to start. We came over for a weekend trip from Savannah and we started our venture with a ferry ride the left from the Westin Savannah. We had prearranged our Ferry time and someone from the resort met us at the Westin and helped us... More

I was most impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The staff was so eager to please and accommodate our request. Everyone was attentive to your needs and time constraints. This quaint historic island was a lot of fun to explore by golf cart. It was nice getting lost and discovering the beauty of its developed and undeveloped tract of... More

Great place to enjoy golfing. Like in other courses on the area, you may see an alligator near your ball. The Club House has a special southern taste.

While touring the island, we were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat. We ventured onto the golf course road and weren't disappointed with how stunning the property is. We went inside the main building where the restaurant was and again, stunning. We sat on the back patio to enjoy lunch and the grounds behind that were... More
