Had some warm weather so decided to do something new. Four of us booked a tee time at bloody point golf club. Everything was awesome, from the boat ride over by capt Jim, to the golf and dinner at Eagles Nest was equally fantastic. Service was exceptional from Patrick and his staff. Can't wait to book another trip in the... More

We were told by some friends about Daufuskie Island and Bloody Point. We decided to take a spur of the moment trip. We arranged a trip with Savannahbyboat.com...Capt Jim picked us up along with our golf clubs and bags...He was so nice...funny guy too!!!....It was a little chilly on the boat ride over but it was January....We soaked all the... Traveled to Daufuskie Island via boat on an excursion to Bloody Point Golf Club arranged by our Savannah hotel, the Westin. As part of the excursion, lunch (boxed sandwichs, very blah) , golf carts and beach chairs were included. It was very cold and windy the day we went so it didn't matter that the pool was closed (!), we... More

An impromptu New Year's Eve trip to avoid the crowds of downtown. Best customer service at a resort hands down!!! The included water taxi ride from Savannah was wonderful since docking a boat overnight can be a burden and costly. We were delighted by a handwritten note, complimentary four seater golf cart, and a bottle of Chardonnay upon our arrival.... More

Rode the Ferry over from HHI - Patrick Ford picked us up and gave us some island history on the way to Bloody Point Golf Club. Beautiful and challenging golf course. Were fortunate to see the resident Bald Eagles and their nest - awe inspiring site! Finished with a great meal in the club house restaurant - couldn't have asked... More

We played the course on Saturday Nov. 7. The weather started out great; sunny and calm, making the boat taxi ride very nice as well . Had the small but very good buffet lunch before teeing off. Unfortunately a rain storm cut our round off after the 16th hole. The course is a nice challenge, being narrow with plenty of... More

I will start by saying if you have never been to Daufuskie Island...GO. If you go to Daufuskie...you must stay, eat, play, do something at Bloody Point! My husband and I found Bloody Point while searching for wedding venues. We were looking for somewhere off the beaten path with lots of character, and that's exactly what we found. We made... More

I took my leadership team (12) to the Bloody Point Resort for our staff 2016 business planning retreat for the second year in a row. There was a reason I did: they nailed it the first time (last August). Guess what? They nailed it again. Kevin McCarthy and his team provided many layers of attention and TLC: - Our baggage... More

I could mention a ton of other highlights in my stay at Bloody point (golf cart adventures, glow-in-the-dark golf, excellent service, actual golf, etc), but one of the surprisingly strong memories to me was the shrimp...yes...the shrimp. I'm not a food critic or cook, so forgive me for not giving more details, but their 'BP shrimp' was amazing and the... More
