Whether you are visiting Columbia or live here, make sure to stop by this beautiful park in the city. It offers views of the city from the famous water fountain. Parking is decent, enough trails to run on around the park, endless space for picnics, and FREE!

Gorgeous fountain, nice walking trail, great venue for music and other festivals held in the park. Watch where you o and kept a weather eye out for the local undesirables. this is, after all, a park in a downtown and if you are an experienced traveler, you know what downtowns hold in store for the unwary.

It is everything the website pictures show it to be! Beautiful water cascades and vibrant beautifully green elephant ears! Shade over swings and beautifully green manicured lawn and you see people on blankets relaxed and just enjoying the day!!

Homeless sleeping on benches at all the entrances. Felt very unsafe, left not recommended for families!

Finlay Park is a great place to relax. It offers a spectacular waterfall in the park with a river that winds down a multiple layer canal. The park has some of the best views of the city and plenty of sidewalk to run or walk. There is also lots of green grass to picnic or play games. Lots of events... More

Can be a nice place to hang out on a sunny day. Sometimes a large homeless presence though. They also host festivals and fairs in the park occasionally.

This is a beautiful park. Loved the water falls and how this park was designed. The park was well kept, very clean and I felt safe. Its seems like it was at the heart of the city but still hardly any people visiting the park as I would assume they would to just have lunch. Nice place for back ground... More

This is a beautiful park in a great location downtown. The vistas here in the evening are amazing. But there are a lot of homeless people that litter the park and make it feel unsafe, typical of a metropolitan downtown area, I guess...and the gorgeous fountain needs an overhaul. There is a lot of undergrowth in it making it smell... More

We went to this park and I must admit - we were hesitant due to all the reviews of all the homeless people - however, I'm glad we didn't pass it up. It was a beautiful day and there were no homeless people there (at least not that we saw anyway). The fountain and waterfalls are beautiful and the view... More
