We came down from Fort Mill, SC area to step up our kayak experience. We all had down the flat river trips, but wanted a more advanced trip. Our kids are 16,14, and 12 and we ALL had a blast on the Saluda with Justin! Justin was laid back and patient and taught our whole group while on the river.... More

We choose an outdoor activity as we were passing through Columbia. I emailed and left messages twice. They aren't timely in getting back to you. We had a nice 3 hours on the Congaree River. Our guide needed to teach some newbies but mainly let them struggle in the back. She was nice, but needed to learn how to be... More

Great, knowledgable people - very helpful. The tubing, canoe or walking trips are not to be missed. Can't go wrong.

Adventure Carolina is one of the best centers around the Columbia area. Many others have come and gone. We have been on countless trips with Adventure Carolina and never been disappointed. The selection of equipment is fair but a bit overpriced at least when I was last there.

Booked this after not getting a response from another company. Nice laid back staff, with a little history to go with the trip. Wish the rapids were class III+ but that's not their fault :)

Did a sit on top kayak trip for race mill to gervais street bridge. The water on the Saluda as great. Cool refreshing and cold water greets you along the saluda. Along the way our guide hite pointed out several interesting sights. Make sure to ask about the the bridge that was burned to keep Sherman from Columbia. You can... More

I went on a kayak trip down the Congaree River in Columbia, SC and thorough enjoyed the experience. It was the first time kayaking for many of us but our guides from Adventure Carolina made this trip a breeze. We saw lots of wildlife including turtles, blue herons, geese, and mallard ducks. The Congaree River is very scenic. This was... More

Adventure Carolina provided a fantastic canoe trip down the Congaree River for a group of teenagers from our church. They communicated clearly, overcame some mistakes I made with planning, offered great training and provided excellent customer service for a group of teenagers that weren't all on the same skill level. The guides displayed patience and were very professional with our... More

My wife and I were invited to take a short kayak trip down the congaree river on Good Friday. There were 7 of us plus our guide. We had a very relaxing trip down the river, and my wife being a non swimmer was very at ease. Her and I had a tandem kayak along with another couple. Our guide... More

Not enough can be said about the customer service that this business provides to people that are new customers! Kevin went above and beyond to assist me in finding particular river gear that I was desperately trying to locate. Even though this outfitter didn't have it, Kevin went out of his way to locate an outfitter that had what I... More
