Great place to walk without inclines! Large parking area and bathroom facilities at both ends of trail. I love the pedestrian bridge and the path is an easy walk. The path is always clean and well maintained.

When I'm home I'm at Columbia Canal everyday the weather allows. The bike and walking path is approximately 2.5 miles long. A trip up and back makes a good 35 minute workout for me on my bike. The trail is fairly busy, but most folks are courteous and share the path.

This was my favorite part in Columbia to run/walk, and would be great for visitors. They have recently connected the two parts of the park that were disconnected, which makes for almost over 6 miles of running. There is a straight a flat path all the way to the dam (great for bike-riding), but also nature trails about 2/3rd down... More

Riverfront trails were nice but be leary - signs said water polluted and homeless people were living under the bridge.

If you are a walker, runner or ride a bicycle you will absolutely love this path. There is plenty of parking, the path is level and an easy walk, run or ride even for the beginner. It is just over 2.5 miles to the end but there are 1/4 mile markers the entire way letting you map your progress. I've... More

Great hiking and great photos! Pet friendly! Spend a little time here in the fall for the great foliage. Bring a picnic basket & enjoy!

I wish there was a fourth rating of "good" between "average" and "very good". Yes, natural areas are disappearing, and too many of us (adults and children) suffer from nature deficit disorder. My family and some friends went down recently for a good long walk. It's nothing outstanding, and despite the emergency call boxes, I wouldn't walk it alone. Nonetheless,... More

Great space for skates, bikes, kites or just walking. Awesome bridge to walk across river. Well lit at night.
