I wish there was a fourth rating of "good" between "average" and "very good". Yes, natural areas are disappearing, and too many of us (adults and children) suffer from nature deficit disorder. My family and some friends went down recently for a good long walk. It's nothing outstanding, and despite the emergency call boxes, I wouldn't walk it alone. Nonetheless,... More

Great space for skates, bikes, kites or just walking. Awesome bridge to walk across river. Well lit at night.

My family and I enjoy walking here wether for exercise or while walking our dog. There is an excellent view of the river, however apart from that there is no extremely special scenery. We usually visit here a few times a week to walk, Eno, or have a picnic- very family friendly. I absolutely would suggest a visit here!

Columbia and surrounding area leaders should look at Greenville SC, Cincinnati OH, and San Antonio TX Riverfront Parks and the tourism dollars they generate. Seriously there is nothing here that can't be found in a walk in one of the many state parks in the area.

We went here to kill some time and found ourselves walking about 2 miles one way before we turned around. This is a must see and walk. Take a camera. There is plenty of spots to stop at and sightsee. We actually went down into the woods by the river... yes there's a trail. Best part is that it's freeeee...

This is a great spot to visit early in the day, before all of the other attractions have opened. Parking is free and you can walk all around, taking in the falls and the historic buildings. Walking across the pedestrian bridge provides some particularly striking views of the river. The park is nicely maintained, and it's worth taking advantage of.

This is a really neat part of Columbia where you can view the river very well. There are several historic buildings and bridges that are great for pictures. This is a can't miss on anyone's list of places to visit!

Very infomative guide. Enjoyable walk with a side of history not seen in the "books". A guided tour for all ages, the walk is relatively easy, lots of shade. Bring some water to drink

My family decided to take a day trip from Charlotte to Columbia just to get away for a day. The rain changed our plans once we got to Columbia but it stopped and we decided to stop by the Riverfront Park since it was rated so high. It was a really nice place with a nice wide walkway but as... More
