Very infomative guide. Enjoyable walk with a side of history not seen in the "books". A guided tour for all ages, the walk is relatively easy, lots of shade. Bring some water to drink

This place is for everyone but great for couples especially if they need sometime peaceful from regular hustle and bustle of life. It is quite a great walk for evening and well maintained with river flowing by your side I would recommend go to this place in evening when this place looks amazing.

What a beautifully landscaped locale! Try to avoid visiting during the summer months, unless you own stock in a bug repellant company. Otherwise, take your time and leisurely stroll this lovely park.

As a lifelong advocate for nature-based recreation and environmental quality management, I’ve watched and studied the development of this extraordinary outdoor recreational complex and historic district with great interest. The area comprising the Columbia Canal and Riverfront Park is very well known to me. Long before there was ever a paved trail along the canal for walking, jogging, bicycling, roller... More

Great location with bathrooms and drinking water fountains. About a 6 mile roundtrip path with nice water on both sides.

I visit my Grandmother here every couple months and always have to go to the Riverfront Park for my daily runs. I just love the river views and trails there! So beautiful!

My dog loves the Columbia Canal and Riverfront Park because it is always filled with interesting animals and friendly people. If you are like me and prefer exercising in the great outdoors, then the Canal Walk serves as a beautiful setting for approximately five miles roundtrip. Also, the plaques at the Park provide interesting facts in regards to the historical... More
