Great path for exercising

It is a great running or biking path. Very scenic so you won't get bored. I would recommend water and a cloudy day lol. It was too hot out there when I went.

Very nice park. It is located near the Gervais Street Bridge on the Congaree River. There is a path at the park that runs between the river and the Columbia canal which people use for walking and running. The canal is dammed water from the Broad River which, when it meets the Saluda River, make the Congaree River. I drove... More

This was a nice stop for us. We did not spend too much time on the trail, but there were several bike riders and other trail walkers. We really wanted to see the canal and old pump room and dam. Although everything was viewable, it would have been nice to have more informational signs posted around the pump room so... More

This is a really nice 2 1/2 mile paved trail (out and back) just off Huger Street. Also a nice big open grassy area and amphitheater. At the start of the trail, it is a bit busier so you need to be a little more careful. It is open for walking, jogging, cyclists, dog walking, fishing, etc. There are some... More

Cute river side park. Nice spot to sit near or walk along the water. We were here around noon on a Friday & passed several friendly people, but it wasn't crowded. Maybe because it was so HOT!

On my visit I walked the trail and was more than satisfied with the length of the trail. It was a scenic route and I didn't realize just how far I had walked until we were done.

Columbia has done an excellent job at keeping this clean, peaceful and friendly. The walk is very very pleasing.

The main attraction here is a paved trail that runs along the canal. My wife and I stopped here for an hour or so to break up a long drive back to Florida. It was easy to find using my phone for navigation. Plenty of parking is available. According to my TrailLink App, this trail was supposed to run about... More

This is basically a long path of a few miles along the water plant and river surrounded by woods. Lots of people run, walk, and bike here. It can also be a nice walk for couples just to spend some time together. This is also a great place for photographers. There are a few old water plant buildings with original... More

My daughters and I frequent this spot for a run quite a bit. I love the paths and the lack of hills. It has a general overall safe feel as well. When the weather is nice and hot (like it is now) it makes for a great place to splash around in the cool river. Love this spot.
