Only trail along a river easily accessible from downtown Columbia. Nice for an hour or so of walking. Relatively quiet and not crowded.Pack a picnic and grab table along the trail. Stare at the river, the birds, (or the joggers and dog walkers!) South of the Gervais Bridge the trail is on the West Columbia side of the river. You... More

The Riverfront Park is a great place to walk or run by yourself or with your family. It is a 2.5 mile stretch each way, with a canal on one side, and a river on the other; creating extreamly scenic and memorable views. As of January 2016, The Riv front Parks has been closed indefinitely due to the Columbia floods... More

Absolute peaceful place to visit and enjoy. So much beauty all around us. We should enjoy more. Life is too short. Get out there and spend the day as soon as you can! Columbia has so much to offer. Beautiful parks and awesome restaurants. Shopping is amazing too.

This is a good park for running, walking your dog and biking. Depending on you fit level you can run for a long long time, since there are several entrances that stretches the length of the canal.

I don't know if it was due to the flooding that occurred prior to my arrival, but I couldn't access much of the walk. Areas were taped off but no explanations were posted.

This is a wonderfully peaceful park that allows you to get out into the country, right in the middle of the city. A great place to run along the canalside.

Lots of sketch people with pit bulls. People on bikes who are training for speed need to go somewhere else. If a full-grown man hits a child they may be killed.

My wife and daughter often walk on the trail after finishing up work. The canal walkway is paved, beautiful, and well-lit.
