I went to the Garden on Sep 9th..no one advised that the horticulture part was under construction but still had to pay the regular admission fee..general public should be warned before entering or maybe lower the fee for admission..

I visited zoos in many cities while growing up and traveling with my parents and I find this zoo to be the best of all I have visited. I have not been to any in California, however, so can't compare this one with any of those. It continues to expand and includes gardens as well as animals so it's worth... More

As good as the Atlanta zoo. Improvements being completed. We liked the gardens as well. Everything was very well kept.

our family loves to go to the zoo. Feeding the giraffes is always fun and visitors always love it. the gardens are beautiful and well worth walking through. with a young child, having the membership so that you can go for a small trip but don't feel like you have to stay all day is key. Also, my daughter LOVES... More

The zoo was like most zoos with one or two different things to see. If you come from a small town and your zoo doesn’t have all the wild life creatures then you’ll want to come visit. Please make sure they have all of the animals there. I’m sure you are asking why. On our visit back in May of... More

Even though the day was hot, our day at the zoo was really cool! It has some remodeling in progress but they have a wide range of animals to see. Feeding the giraffes was a highlight of the day! I never saw a fish cat before either. You don't have to be a child to enjoy this zoo! It's for... More

This is a remarkable zoo. Having lived about 15 minutes from it for about 20 years of my life i have visited this zoo about 50 times. It has alot to offer in the space it has. You can see a wide range of animals from flamingo's and exotic birds, seals and sea lions, to big cats, koala's, and elephants.... More

Riverbanks Zoo is a great place to spend time. It has a variety of things to enjoy - botanical gardens, animals, aquarium, activities, classes. All around something for everyone. Economically priced for a year pass. Took an acquaintance of mine from out of town and a really enjoyable outing.
