There is something for everyone. I love the gorilla exhibit the best. There are great maps and plenty of places to find a delicious snack or meal, on your way. Boo at the zoo, and Zoofari are two events I have enjoyed. Always a great time, and very clean.

I have watch the changes at the Riverbank zoo has done over the years. I have also visited others, But by far this is the one place you must come and see. The changes and the grounds are fabulous. I don't mean to brag but it is getting better and bigger every year! If you have not been in a... More

For a fun fill interesting and educational day will be a trip to the Riverbank Zoo and gardens. The spring is my favorite time to visit because everything is in bloom and very picturesque. There is ample handicapped and non-handicap parking, nice dining facility for snacks, picnic lunches, and menu for purchase food. This is a fun filled trip for... More

This zoo is a wonderful attraction for the family. I was surprised by their penguin showcase, which has multiple species living side-by-side (I thought the penguins were the best feature of the zoo). The gorillas have lots of space to roam and seem to be as entertained by us as we are by them. You are able to get close... More

Not only can you have fun but learn a thig or two. The Rock wall for Kids and the Ropes Course along with the Zip lines complete the fact that there is... More

I love this zoo, been going since i was little. The animals look healthy and cared for. They do something for Halloween and during the holidays they havell Christmas lights and Santa's village, and you can still view the animals.

Nice community zoo. This zoo was clean and had a nice assortment of animals and reptiles for a city of the size of Columbia. The enclosures appeared well taken care of as were the animals. Though the elephants were a bit smelly, they looked healthy and were not restricted other than for the enclosure they were in.
