The campus is beautiful and offers many places for a nice scenic walk. It is safe and easy to navigate. Trees, architecture, friendly faces.

I've lived in Columbia SC all my life, and USC is the university of spoiled rich kids and yankess that come to the south for cheap education. USC basically runs everything in this town. You can't get a job, a date, a decent meal without getting involved with usc some how

Enjoyed pre game festivities then went to game at the stadium. I would highly recommend renting "back chair" unless you have a massage scheduled later that day.

It seems the average reviewer is rating this based on their educational experience or their joy of going to football games--which isn't really the point and, frankly, is pretty subjective. After all, no matter how many people talk about how they feel it's a great educational institution, their opinion is easily debunked by picking up almost any publishers lists of... More

I just love South Carolina. Great people, great beaches, fantastic restaurants wherever you go. The highway system around Columbia is a bit confusing but if you have GPS, no problem

Visit the Horseshoe and Williams-Brice Stadium. The gameday atmosphere can't be beat, but be prepared to arrive early!

Traffic in the area is a bit rough, so get a good real-time app for traffic alerts & re-routes. The bookstore is a bit challenging to find on standard GPS devices.

USC is home to a fantastic academic atmosphere, rich history, and wonderful scenery. It is always clean and well-groomed. A stroll through campus is a stroll through South Carolina history. By the way, if you can get to a night football game, you must go!
