Go Gamecocks!

Absolutely love USC! Full of tradition for both men's and women's sports. A great time for individuals and families.

Very large campus spread out over downtown Columbia. Large student body (over 20,000). Two bookstores: one in the Russell House and the SC Bookstore on Main and Greene. Columbia is the main campus; there are other campuses in Aiken, Beaufort, Spartanburg.

It was are first time to Columbia and we drove to the Stadium hoping that we would be able to walk around and maybe go inside ! But the grounds were under construction and it was all fenced off and only hard hat's allowed. My son is the biggest gamecock fan around lol He just turned 15 and is 6'4... More

You're average mega college. Lots of students, buildings, and housing. Football is huge around here and over rated. Unless you or your child plans on attending or you are a collage football nut with undying loyalty no matter how badly they play, there is nothing much to see here. Go to the zoo. At least you'll get your money's worth.

We happened to park in front of the University and I took a photo of the school's sign while on the way to watch the historic removal of the confederate flag pole being removed since we missed the flag removal. From the outside the school is beautifully bricked and well manicured.

Wonderful college. My daughter will be a Sophomore here in the coming semester. You get all the benefits of being in a city/downtown area, but yet it still feels rural. They keep investing in buildings, dorms, and infrastructure. I highly recommend!

Had great time at freshman orientation! Coming from Massachusetts its very different, although exactly what my daughter was looking for. Warm, Fun high energy and socially involved and big time football! Of course studies! She is so psyched to be a gamecock and we're looking forward to parent's weekend to take in a game. GO COCK'S (by the way her... More

Well Done. Excellent use of time and information and activities were well done. Kudos to The staff and organization that happened prior to our arrival that made it all go so smoothly.

Columbia's largest state college. Located in the heart of downtown Columbia. The university offers a large selection of academic choices for degree programs. Various athletic programs for both fans and participants.

Like the campus, like the academics, athletics, and especially the Southern hospitality! We are proud to have an incoming freshman and look forward to learning more about Columbia.
