a perfect carriage tour with Dale and Chief! Dale gave us lots of very interesting information about Charleston, she had a lot of good information about the city. A great way to see the city. Thank you both!

This was a great opportunity to enjoy and see the city in a quick way. Our tour guide was amazing, funny, professional and extremely knowledgeable. It is luck of the draw as to what tour you are granted although I would say each tour is a winner. The carriage location was easily accessible, no wait with pre-ordered tickets (or purchase... More

Be sure and go on a carriage ride in Charleston. Be sure and do it when you fist get there. Then you can determine where to go when you venture out. Our drive was Mary and she sure knew Charleston. There are a lot of companies that do carriage rides and the competition is fierce. Most seem to be quite... More

We were so glad that we took the horse drawn carriage tour as we would never have learned so much about Charleston on our own. Although it was a chilly day, we were kept warm and snug with plenty of blankets. "Chief" was in charge of our tour and performed admirably, showing us many of the important buildings. Our guide... Comfortable carriages (cushioned seats) and knowledgeable tour guides. Would have liked a little more history of the city, but a fun way to see the historic area. I was skeptical about going on a carriage ride because I always worry how the horses are kept and treated. After speaking with the Charleston Carriage Works, I think the horses have better... More

The staff was very friendly and offered us blankets for our ride. The day had a chill in the air but pleasant nonetheless. I was surprised that nothing was mentioned about the slave or slave trade that made Charleston the richest cities for 8 years in a row.

Very good experience if you don't have a lot of time for touring historic Charleston. Our guide was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. Only drawback was that I felt like we were crammed into the carriage. It was cold though, so at least I stayed warm!

My wife and I were in town for our anniversary and really enjoyed the carriage ride. Our guide was Forrest and "Rob" did the heavy lifting. It was very informative and interesting. We would do it again in a heartbeat and will when we get back to town.

Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining, and funny. The teenagers with me listened to every word she said, including the history of Charleston and the buildings, stating that it coincided with what they'd just learned in their history classes, thus helping them to remember the points. We loved it and I was very glad the kids requested we take... More

just by chance we took the tour and had a great tour guide who gave us historical and funny information as well, were able to see much of the beautiful downtown area and old mansions. Our horse Dan couldn't have given a better ride. We also did the haunted graveyard tour Halloween night which we were very disappointed with, nothing... More
