Walking tour with JoAnn was great!! I have been to charleston twice, but this time fell in love with the city. I did not know it was the largest colonial city in the US. Homes are privately owned and maintained. Architecture is uniquely Charlestonian. The tainted slave-owning history was mentioned. Not sure the appropriate homage that should be applied on... More

My husband and I took this tour. It was a first time taking this type of tour. Karen, our guide was great. She knows so much about the ghosts in Charleston. She didn't need a script, she even told us about some other locations in town that some of us on the tour asked about. Her photos that she showed... More

We did the haunted graveyard tour and it was fantastic. The tour guide made it very interesting and fun. Information she provided was fantastic. I was really impressed with this tour and would highly recommend it. Going inside the graveyard that late at night was eerie and didn't expect to be a little scared. Definitely take this tour :)

We took a walking tour with David of old charleston. He was very informative with many stories of the early days of the city which inspired me to do additional reading and research. We also took a ghost tour which left me wanting more! I would have gone longer! I would use this tour company again

Took the walking tour of the Dark side of Charleston. Very informative and fun. Michael Clayton was excellent. Kept our interest piqued the entire time. Would recommend it!

My husband and I were really looking forward to a creepy experience since the website described it as: "**This is quite possibly the scariest place you will ever go. The experience is NOT recommended for small children or men that cry easily.** I understand that last sentence is just for fun in regards to making men cry, but we were... More

I am so sorry that you all didn't enjoy the Haunted Jail Tour. We actually describe it to customers as being a story telling tour with history and ghost stories. Being "scared" is so subjective as it is hard to know what scares one person and not another. Many people are scared from just being inside the Old City Jail.... More

Overall good experience, this wasn't what I expected. I expected more about the voodoo, evil side of charleston. But the overall tour was a bout brothels and prositution.

I see that you did the Dark Side of Charleston Tour. Yes, the tour is about prostitution, crime and torture. I'm sorry this isn't what you expected. We do talk about the "dark" side of Charleston, so I am not sure what wasn't covered about the evil side of the city. Did you ask your tour guide any questions pertaining... More

We had a great tour with Mary (Danny) last week. She was very personable & really knew the old city. She was also very helpful in suggesting restaurants to visit to some of the people in our group. Noise was a little bit of an issue-garbage & recycle trucks (I guess Mondays are pick-up day!), leaf blowers & airplanes, but... More

Savor the Flavors of Downtown Charleston is a wonderful tour. Our guide was both knowledgeable about Charleston, cooking, and the foods we were sampling. And we sampled a lot of food. Don’t let anyone tell you this tour won’t substitute for lunch. There is plenty of food served, from delicious grits to hush puppies with praline butter to candy samples.... More

Can't remember our guide's name, but he was the younger, retired police officer, & he was phenomenal!! Definitely got us to jump pretty high in the last room that was completely dark. Not only was he exceptionally knowledgeable, but there was a genuine passion and respect for what had happened there. *Goosebumps* Two thumbs up, would recommend for any one... More
