Last March, our organization took a Historical City tour on one of our retreats. Our guide, Fran, was so informative and shared wonderful historical details about the city. A sweet, sweet lady who knows her stuff. Bring your walking shoes and try to keep up with her! She is spunky! It was great working with Diane to give our military... More

We only had 2 nights in Charleston, so we did a double header in order to get the most ghost experience in such a reportedly haunted city. Our first tour: We did the Jail Tour with Sean. Sean was great the tour was informative and educational, and spooky! We walked from around the City Market area of Charleston and felt... More

It is wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your tour of the Old City Jail. Sean really is a great tour guide and I am so happy that you got to experience that. Everyone loves him! I'm sorry though that you thought you would be "investigating" the Old City Jail. We do tours every night from 7pm until 10:30pm. Our... More

I went to Charleston on a last minute trip with friends. Bulldog was the only tour for the jailhouse. I went last year on a tour from this company and was really disappointed. Could they do it again, absolutely! We picked up our tickets for the jailhouse tour and was given a map to the jail. We where not walking... More

I am sorry to hear that you had a couple of bad experiences with us. We wish you would have told us about your experience last year and we could have tried to rectify the situation. As for the location of the jail. You are right, it is only about one mile from the office (6 blocks is exactly what... More

The Ghosts & Graveyards tour is long on folkore, but short on spooky. I was expecting scarier tales given the history of Charleston, but the tales were tame. My friends and I learned a quite a bit of history and enjoyed the guided tour through the beautiful streets of Charleston.

I am sorry if you thought the tour was going to be "spooky." Our Ghost and Graveyard Tour is mostly history ghost story telling. It is not like a haunted house where people jump out or anything. I am so sorry if you were misled into thinking it was like that. I am glad though that you ended up liking... More

I attended a culinary tour today with Cathie as the guide and it was great. She had a wealth of knowledge about the food and history of the city and the food was really good. I was so pleasantly full afterwards and enjoyed every bite, would definitely recommend to others.

This was the second time we did this tour. The first time was great-very scary and the guide had lots of paranormal stories to share. So good, in fact, that we talked our friends into going again. This time, however, our guide spoke like she was giving us a history lesson focusing on the architecture of the building and the... More

Thank you for the feedback, but I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your tour guide. Every tour guide is different. Some do a little more on the paranormal side and some do a little more history. It sounds like you got a guide that did more history. I wish I knew your guide's name. Again, I am sorry that... More

Went on this tour while in town visiting family, some of us are from Charleston and surprisingly enough they learned a few things themselves on the ghosts and graveyards tour. A very nice lady gave the tour and seemed to enjoy her job.

My family and I just took the Ghost and Graveyard walking tour and it was awesome. Our guide Joshua was very knowledgeable and an excellent story-teller. Our kids are 13 and 15 and both really enjoyed the tour and remarked that it was fun and they learned things they didn't know before. My daughter said she wanted more "ghost stories"... More

We did the evening ghost and dungeon tour. It was a fun way to see some of the city on foot, including several churches and to learn some unofficial history. Our guide (ex cop with a beard, can't remember his name) was a great story teller (all true, I'm sure) and struck the perfect tone when speaking of a subject... More
