Ghost Tour

This was a good walking tour of Charleston. Not scary, but Barry was entertaining and a great storyteller. The tour includes several stops and lasts @1 1/2 hrs.

Charleston Jail Ghost tour was a bust! There were really no ghost stories, not much to see in the building and a little history from the guide . Since it now houses a college, some rooms are set up for the students, not set up as in the days of the jail. You need to use a lot of imagination.... More

Great tours, we have been on 3 ghost tours now. Fun, factual, not too scarey, kids and hubby enjoyed them!

Cathy of the culinary tour was absolutely fantastic. If you are going to be in the city for a few days, you should do this tour first so that you get a flavor for the city and will taste the best of the best. The tour is extremely filling so do NOT eat before you begin. Cathy was amazing as... More

This was a boring tour, save your money and go on one in Savannah instead. Stops you make are: in an alley to talk, by a hotel where a man hung himself and is blood supposedly dripped through floor from third floor to ground level and he supposedly still haunts the building by pushing things against the wall. if this... I am sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the tour. Savannah does have great ghost tours, but they are totally different. Yes, we do go to Philadelphia Alley where there are some great historical stories and duels that happened there and that is why the ghost stories there are so good. South End Brewery is where the suicide took... More

We did the haunted jail tour and it really was quite cool. The guide was wonderful and was obviously very passionate about his job and extremely knowledgeable about the history and such of the jail. It was just the right amount of creepy and just the right amount of REAL. The downfall was that there were way too many people... More

I am sorry to hear this. I am not sure how that happened that you had 28 people on your tour. We do not go over 20 for the tours so I am not sure how that happened, but thank you for telling us. I will certainly look into it. Sometimes people do use their cell phones as a light... More

There are so many ghost tour companies to choose from in Charleston we weren't sure which one to go with. So glad we chose Bulldog Tours! We had such a wonderful time. Our tour guide Franny was amazing! She did a fantastic job of blending ghost stories with historical content. She really tailored her tour to what interested her particular... More

I went on the haunted jail tour, my main reason from driving to Charleston from our vacation spot in Myrtle Beach. I couldn't wait for a chance to go into an actual haunted building, rather than just viewing it from the street like on other ghost tours. The building is SO creepy from the outside. Our tour guide was great.... More

I am glad you liked the tour overall. It sounds like you had Paulette as your tour guide and she is a great tour guide. I'm sorry that you felt that the tour was too short. We do only tour the building so it really can't be too long. The American College of Building Arts does occupy the building during... More

Yes, definitely bring water on the Haunted Jail Tour. We do have signs posted in our office about that. It is a hot old building for sure. I am sorry you didn't like the Dark Side of Charleston tour. We get so many good reviews about that one so I am curious as to why you didn't enjoy that tour.... More

We really enjoyed our Charleston ghost tour on Monday July 20, 2015, the 9pm Ghosts and Dungeon Tour. Bulldog tours was easy to find walking in Charleston. Employees in office were friendly and helpful in booking our tour and checking us in. Our tour guide, Bill, was so friendly and informative. He took us all over Charleston sharing stories of...
