Depends on the guide

I really think the quality of the tour depends on the guide. We went on the Ghosts and Graveyard tour and while our guide was very nice, it was just over the top cheesy.

We took the history tour which was fun and informative. We learned many many things about Charleston and the tour guide was extremely engaging with our younger ones. I can't wait to do the Haunted tour!!!!

My friends and I wanted to experience something different, so one of them had picked up a tour pamphlet and we decided to go on the Darkside of Charleston walking tour. We decided to not do one of the haunted tours because one of our friends was too afraid she would be scared. This tour was actually very interesting and... More

Do not take the Dungeons and Ghost tour. It is a terrible experience and you will not be happy with the tour. You go into one building and the remainder of the time is spent walking at a fast pace with the tour guide or listening to long stories told by the guide while standing outside some place. The tour... More

When I saw a culinary tour of Charleston was available I had jump at it. This city is so full of amazing restaurants it was a must to have a sampling of the foods and the culture. We visited 6 food and food related places on the tour with a sampling of 4 different restaurants. There were grits, hush puppies... More

We were very disappointed. We had previously been on another ghost tour, in Charleston, and thought it was the best. ...so we booked this one because of the added benefit of entering a graveyard at night. The graveyard was really cool, but our guide was awful!!!! Did not make it fun, at all, which was embarrassing, as we were entertaining... More

We booked the tour through Bull Dog, a 2 1/2 hour tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and I informative. Some of our stops were a spice and tea shop, a breakfast dive, a kitchen store, oyster restaurant, which were all interesting. The last stop,I thought, was a poor choice, Jim and Nicks . It is a chain, so I... More

I've been on ghost tours in Charleston, Savannah, Asheville, etc. This was probably the least exciting one ever. Not scary. Not particularly informative.

Thank you for the feedback. It sounds like you are definitely an expert on ghost tours since you have been on so many in so many different cities. I am sorry to hear that you didn't think it was exciting. Our tours are actually not supposed to be scary per se. They are story telling with some ghost stories mixed... More

Our tour guide Lisa was amazing! She was well spoken and very knowledgable. Made all the families feel welcome and included in the tour. We will definitely bring visiting family and friends to this experience. ~Weale Family~

My wife and I took this tour on March 2, 2015. Our guide, Glenn, did a nice job scaring us. And we loved it!
