It seems all the tours are similar. We chose Palmetto since they had later tours. lots of history, but stopped a lot. You do not know which tour you are going to get until you pull up at the corner of market and meeting street. So expect to only see part of the city.

Lots of tour choices but we were drawn by the reviews and 4 hour parking ($5 in season) close to the Market. An efficient, friendly operation that seems to really take care of their mules. Our driver was informative, with just the right blend of facts and humor. Bought the combo ticket but the boat cruise was less interesting for... More

My husband and I, along with my sister and brother-in-law traveled to Charleston on March 16,2015. We have visited Charleston before and enjoy seeing the city by doing a carriage tour. The afternoon was sunny and warm and we opted to take a private carriage tour. The private carriage is a bit more expensive, but worth it. Ali, our driver... More

What a great ride! You cannot leave the city without doing a carriage tour, and this is the best one! Its a nice and relaxing way to see the city. The drivers are very knowledgable about the area. Most importantly, the horses are very well taken care of.

Our group opted to do the private tour so that we could enjoy it with just our group. Myron was our guide and he was awesome. He is from the area and knew what he was talking about and had a way with his story telling. He threw some jokes in and kept it fun and informative. The ride lasted... More

We were visiting Charleston for 2 nights and decided to try the carriage tour. Our guide Mark was an 8th generation Charlestonian and well versed in the citys history. He told us many fasinating historical facts as well as some really funny & enjoyable stories. He had a really great Southern accent and a very laid back personality. Our carriage... More

Don't sit in the front because you can't see through the guide. Good guide but I almost got socked in the nose with his elbow. E Very friendly and accommodating staff.
