Unique and Beautiful

This is one of the trips you need to take when you are in Charleston. The views from the bridge across the bay are beautiful, and the bridge itself is architecturally unique.

Great views of city and river. Beautiful structure and gives sweeping view of Charleston. Would be excellent to hike or bike weather permitting.

I wouldn't call this the prettiest bridge I've ever seen, however it's very appealing and unusual. One day the two tops were hidden in low clouds, which was eerily beautiful. We really liked how quickly traffic moved on it. I recommend seeing it from land, and the water, from your car window, and from below it at the Mount Pleasant... More

This bridge is awesome and I mean that in the old fashioned sense of the word. It looks so sci fi and futuristic as you approach it. A definite wow factor. And if you are physically fit the view from the top is stupendous, but it is a very long walk so if it's a hot day be prepared.

One of the prettiest bridges I have ever seen. Take the water taxi for ten dollars at waterfront park for a great view! It is a sight to see!

This bridge is huge (bigger than I thought from a distance) and really fun to drive over as long as you are not afraid of heights. It is a nice looking structure and boasts a great view of Charleston. It has a pedestrian lane that many people were using. I will try to walk across next time!

Not much to say other than this bridge will get you from point A to point B...depending on your destinations but WOW (and WOW backwards)...what a beauty and awesome engineering feat! Can be seen from just about anywhere in the area - it really is neat to see up close and obviously, to drive across. Great views on and off... More
