Unique and the structure was amazing. The view is breath taking. The walking track is awesome. Something to see for the entire family.

Watch out, there are some bad drivers and not very well marked exits, a potentially hazardous combination. Keep eyes open and on the road as unsignalled abrupt lane changes and late night boozers were too frequent.

We rented bikes to ride around historic Charleston, and rode over the pedestrian/cycle path on this beautiful bridge. You get amazing views of the area, and a great workout to boost!

While this was rated the top attraction in Charleston it's hard to compare to the Golden Gate Bridge. It would be a long walk across and back but nice view.

One of the joys of living in Charleston and working in Mt. Pleasant! Never got tired of the sight of the Ravenel Bridge!

A must do for anyone visiting Charleston. If your fit enough for at least 5 miles of walking the bridge is worth a visit. If you get tired once your on the other side you can always get the water taxi back from Patriots Point. A trip on the water taxi is an experience in itself!

Surprised to see so many people walking on the bridge as we drove across. It would definitely be a hike, but it seems very popular and the walkway makes it accessible. Very unique and aesthetically appealing both close up and from a distance. Must for the to do list if it's your first time in the area.

You'll find artwork featuring this bridge all through Charleston and there's a great reason. It's truly gorgeous. There are 5 lanes on each side and it's lit at night making it a living work of art. One of my favorite bridges in the US.

Easy travel back and forth with a fabulous foot/ bike path. Spectacular views! The top has a zen like feel to it. The only drawback to travelers would be if something tragic happens and it's closed down... the traffic becomes a nightmare!
