We drove to Charleston SC and our hotel was in Mt. Pleasant, so we had to cross this bridge for several days. Each time we marveled at the mighty beauty weather in the daytime or all lit up at night. You've got to see it for yourselves if you go! More

Geat views from the top of the bridge and a popular spot for walkers, joggers and people of all ages. Whilst I think it's a lovely bridge, I'm not sure why it's a number 4 attraction in Charleston though as there are far better places to visit. More

We had a old, rotting one; now it's beautiful....that's it, except the views are wonderful. More

Didn't walk the bridge (which was recommended) but when we crossed it the sunshine just made it shine and look oh so beautiful. More

Wife and I did a combo walk/jog of entire span of bridge--there and back. From where our car was parked, which was near the bottom of the bridge on the Mount Pleasant side, it was 5.5 miles round trip, and about 1 hour 20 minutes. We mostly walked. If you jog it, it will obviously be faster based on even... More

Very cool bridge, run across for a good workout. It's about 4 miles total and offers some good views. I recommend going early in the morning before it becomes too hot. More

I spent the weekend in the Charleston area and went to the bridge for a morning run. Suggest that you park on the Mount Pleasant side at their Memorial Waterfront Park. There is lots of parking, restrooms, water, etc. Its a great way to see the city, and the hills on the bridge are challenging, but doable. Saw people of... More

Not many of these really long suspension bridges are any more beautiful to see, especially from the Harbor. We were able to see it at many different times of day, and the night view is really good. You can walk/run across in safe pedestrian lanes - not something I would do, but lots of others were. More
