It is beautiful! It rises not the sky and you can see i from a lot of places. We just saw it but didn't cross it, but everyone in Charleston is very proud of it.

We really enjoyed our walk across the bridge. Awesome scenery and good exercise. The parking areas were very convenient and the bridge playground was so cool even though my son is 16! Would be great for kids. Parking on either side of bridge is great .

this bridge was built around the turn of the 21st century unbudget and ahead of schedule. It has great views and has a wonderful walking path, bike path and runners path all the way acrossconnecting Mt. Pleasant to Charleston. Well worht the walk and view and it's free!

Not only is it beautiful with great views over the water, but it is a walking/running bridge with a nice path, which is usually well used. My husband told me how the bridge is constructed and it is able to withstand 300 mph winds!

We drove across thus bridge after visiting Boone's Plantation. This bridge is very high, my gps indicated 217 feet, but I'm not certain of that accuracy. It is somewhat intimidating because you have several lanes of fast moving traffic. Beautiful bridge, and it's a free attraction.

If you are into a beautiful walk you need to do it over this bridge. We also took a cruise and went all around this bridge and heard the history of it. Charleston is a very beautiful, relaxed and layed back city to visit and people are all so friendly. Lots to do and see.

Well, my wife and I are walkers, so walking the Ravenel was one of our goals. We staye about 1/4 mile away in Patriots Point/Mt. Pleasant at a Hampton Inn. It was very easy to find even though the hotel staff thought we were daft for wanting to walk it.....and there are other very easy accesses to the walk near... More

Is it crazy to consider a bridge an attraction of a city? Not if it's this bridge. It garners a decent crowd of runners and walkers and offers fantastic views and it's one of the highest points in the area. It also offers great views of Patriot's Point and the U.S.S. Yorktown, not to mention the architecture of the bridge... More

I didn't understand the fuss about a bridge until I saw it. It is beautiful. We didn't walk it (although that's only list to do) but we took a boat tour that went under the bridge. It was a great way to really see how large it is and get some unique pictures.

With all the low country around Charleston, this bridge stands out as one of the high points, so walking along the bridge gives you great views of the surrounding area. The walkway accommodates walkers and bikers and is great exercise--probably the only hill walking one can get for miles around! Worth taking a couple of hours to do.
