The carriage ride gives a wonderful overview of the city. We did the historic route, they also offer the Civil War ride. Very hot this time of year, but it is worth it. Guide very knowledgeable.

Couldn't remember our guide's name, shame on us, but our horse was "Carson".We were in the back row of the carrage & were concerned we my not hear everything. That was not the case. Our guide was full of knowledge with touches of humor throughout. This is what we look forward to when taking a tour like this.

Horse carriage tour with Todd as our very knowledgeable and personable driver and tour guide. It was well worth the $23 for the one hour tour. We have been to Charleston many times but learned some incredible history and facts on this tour. And kudos to Carson, who pulled us around Charleston.

We did the civil war tour while visiting Charleston. Matt was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and kept it interesting for the entire tour. I would gladly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our carriage ride through Charleston, despite both oppressive heat and pouring rain during the hour! We were interested to learn that our tour route is dictated by a lottery (literally a ball in a cage) when you leave. That's not specific to this company - that's how the city runs all the carriage tours. We ended up... More

As all Carriages are highly regulated by the city and the state there is not much difference, neiter in the price nor in th erout, approach or anything else BUT check out who will be the driver before you go as they make all the difference and as there are no feedbacks that can be given nor any indication that... Charleston is beautiful. Taking a carriage tour is a good way to see the old city area. You get see the sites without walking everywhere. The line was a little long to board our carriage. The smell while waiting is not a pleasant one. That is just part of the process. The guides truly make any tour. Ours was fine,... More

We go downtown Charleston every time we visit my parents. We were just taking it easy and decided to take a carriage ride. It was relaxing, educational and affordable. We even got a military discount! A+ service and our guides were great!

Very pleased with our experience at Classic! We made reservations online for the first tour of the morning at 9:30. We printed our tickets at home and arrived by 9:15 as instructed. Our guide, Ginger, and our black Percheron, Dakota, gave us a wonderful tour. It was already hot at 9:30 (late July), so I was really glad we took... More

Very nice narration, appreciated the details that she reported. Our group of twelve was very happy to have the early morning event.
