My wife and I absolutely enjoyed the Black Fedora. We bought tickets a week in advance for a Saturday night performance, and it was completely filled. They do a nice job of getting drinks and appetizers out to the tables before the show starts and then coming around again between acts. They play takes place on the floor between the... More

Had a great time at this small theater. Saw the show on Sunday evening and it was a sold out event which apparently happens most nights, so make sure you buy tickets in advance. The show manages to make even the most skeptical person have a good time. Some talented actors/actresses play their roles well including working with the many... More

Planning my first visit to Charleston I came across The Black Fedora on TripAdvisor. After reading the reviews I bought tickets online for the Sherlock Holmes show. I went with my parents and we had a great time. I am glad I bought tickets online because the show was sold out. They let you in about 30 minutes prior to... More

A group of us went to this interactive mystery play and had a great time! If you are looking for a fun night try them! The actors are very friendly as well as the staff. They sell beverages & light snacks as well as shirts, mystery games and used mystery books. We had a fun night!

Get your tickets early since they tend to sell out. We loved how they had the Match the Photo to the TV detective game to keep the audience occupied at the beginning, but thank god for cell phones because my husband and I had no clue! We went to see the performance titled, "A Priest, a Rabbi, and a Clown!"... More

Small venue (order tix in advance) full of energy w/audience participation adding to the fun while including Charleston history/tidbits in the skits. Game of Match the Photo to the TV Detective was a good way to keep people occupied while audience was being seated. Good group outing. Snacks & beverages available for purchase.

My daughter and I spent an evening at The Black Fedora. We were there to see Mr Noclue. This was a very entertaining show. I don't normally comment about other people's contributions but I just have to say this: Don't come to an adult comedy show and expect a "G" rating show. I consider myself a modest person (ask my... If you don't appreciate crude jokes, you will not feel at ease at this event. The owner should seriously consider removing the word "clean" from the description as it is very misleading. We were looking for clean comedy and this was not it. I was very disappointed, and we left at intermission. We wanted to leave after 2 minutes but... More

I am so sorry your family did not stay to enjoy the Saturday 9 p.m. Inspector NoClue's Murder Mystery. Our brochures and website recommend the show for "adults out on the town and away from the kids," but it has been enjoyed by church groups and senior citizens. More

My girlfriend and I were walking down Church St and we came upon this little theater in the afternoon. We didn't know what it was so we walked in. The nice people behind the counter explained that it was a little theater, privately owned and operated and that it specialized in audience participation mysteries. We love that sort of thing,...
