My friends and I were visiting Charleston for a bachelorette weekend and decided to book a sailing excursion while there. This was the best idea ever! We had such an amazing time! The weather was beautiful and the catamaran was so nice. There were four of us and two others joined and we all got along just great. We really... More

Booked a 90 minute sail while my friends were in town and we had SO much fun. We are a talkative group- and Brian was such a great balance for us because he shared some of his knowledge about the historical buildings and islands in the harbor but mostly let us enjoy our sail the way we wanted to. He... More

Wow. This sail was a blast, definitely something my wife and I plan to do every time we go to Charleston. We arrived a bit early, met the captain (Brian) and the other passengers, boarded the boat and shoved off without delay. After a few minutes of motoring away from the dock, we turn into the wind and raised the... More

I took the Eco dolphin tour on the 1st day of Winter. It was a perfect day with great wind that pushed us around the harbor. We arrived early to find Brian, our captain, getting the catamaran prepared. He gave us the green light to hop on and start our tour 15 minutes early. Some would think that we would... More

What a wonderful way to spend an evening is all I can say. I went to sailing camp as a child and had not been on a sailboat in many years so this was really an awesome adventure for me. My husband had never been sailing before and he too thought it was a wonderful time. If you want to... More

My husband and I had a great time on the sunset cruise. We had no problem using our deal from Living Social. Captain Jeremy is well-informed about Charleston past and present, seafaring, and sea life. It was a laid back and comfortable ride.

I'm sure many of you have been on harbor or river cruises. It's a very nice way to pass the time. But usually you're in a powered boat, which can be very noisy. Prevailing Winds uses a wind-powered catamaran that provides an unmatched experience. I now understand the attraction sailing has to so many people. Even though we were moving... More

Jeremy and Marissa run a great charter service. Everything from the reservation process to our departure was handled smoothly. Jeremy was knowledgeable and friendly and made our "3 hour tour" a great success. We will do this again.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Charleston. We had never been on a catamaran before, but we really enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed that we didn't hear more history about the city. We were on the boat with two other couples & they were pretty chatty. If you are looking for a very private trip,... More
