Booked our charter as a part of my brother's bachelor party weekend. Brian was a great captain- laid back, accommodating, and really helpful in suggesting bars to check out later in the day. Had a cooler with ice on board so really easy to stop by the Harris Teeter and grab some drinks to bring on board. Great experience for... More

We had a really nice time. Brian was super. Very approachable, down-to-earth sort - kind of person you enjoy being around. He taught us a bit about sailing, some new terms (safety first of course :-) and then took us out for some great photo moments, saw dolphin, and oh yes, the gorgeous sunset and views of Charleston, Mount Pleasant,... I lived in charleston for several years and going out on Brian's boat was one of the best experiences I had. My friends and I actually went out several times because we had such a good time. The views were stunning, the captain, Brian, is so much fun & extremely experienced, and the boat is spectacular with tons of room... More

If you are going to go on a sailing cruise in Charleston, this is the only one to consider! We did the sunset cruise and it was amazing! The catamaran was so spacious, clean, and comfortable. Brian was absolutely awesome and made the whole trip outstanding. It was one of our favorite Charleston experiences ever! We cannot reccomend it enough.

Prevailing Winds catamaran sailing tours are amazing and comfortable for the entire family. Sailing is as close as it gets to nature with dolphins, pelicans, and fish easily enjoyed as you comfortably sail by beautiful sights of Charleston and the harbor. The catamaran vs. a regular sailboat is much more stable, without the listing to one side or another so... More

We just moved to Charleston temporarily and had this on our list to do. We really enjoyed Brian and all the information he shared with us about Charleston. We were the only ones on the excursion which was fine. It was on November 8th so not as many tourists around and a little cooler on the water. We really enjoyed... More

First time my wife, her niece, and I have been on a boat touring the Charleston Harbor and the experience couldn't have been more enjoyable. Captain Brian was able to speak of the history and sights of Charleston, plus we had lovely sailing weather which made this small catamaran ride very relaxing and enjoyable. The 90 minute cruise is just... More

Captain is super knowledgeable with the history of the city and the nature of the winds. His boat is the perfect size for a good ride! I liked the length of the trip too! Some charters in this city seem to be too long. I grew up here- so I've been on many. I'm just not sure there is anything... More

I'm a local and my friends are from out of town, and I love to show off the beautiful historical Charleston, and this was such an excellent way to do it! We sailed around the harbor and were encouraged to bring snacks and adult beverages if we wanted to. It was like hanging out on a good friends boat, who... More
