The sunset cruise was beautiful; we saw a magnificent sunset on a perfect evening complete with pelicans and dolphins. The Charleston skyline was wonderful. Brian, our captain, provided speedy communication about weather conditions etc. and where to meet him at the pier. We look forward to going again.

Capt. Brian gave us an awesome sailing experience. My husband and I never thought we could enjoy a relaxing sail with four kids, ages 11, 8, 4 and 10 months, but we did!! Kids hung out on boat and "trampoline" watching Dolphins, huge boats, etc. (baby bjorned to hubby). Capt. Brian gave us great tour as we sailed past key... More

We had a wonderful time sailing with Brian. Despite having no wind, we motored around the harbor for a while. He was entertaining and knowledgeable and put everyone at ease and somehow managed to conjure up a whole pod of dolphins.

We had a gorgeous evening to enjoy a beautiful sunset tour! Brian is a super nice guide with loads of information to share about Charleston! Ninety minutes is the perfect amount of time on the water. Kids enjoyed the trampoline on the front of the boat. We don't sail, but we were able to check off another item on our... More

Capt Brian gave us an excellent experience sailing and telling us about the city. I loved seeing some beautiful homes we probably wouldn't have seen otherwise. My favorite part of the trip is that it was a very small group (4 guests total plus Brian) & the max is 6 so it's more intimate than the larger tours. Don't be... More

My friend and I booked a sunset sail and had a wonderful time. We brought on a bottle of champagne and some glasses and relaxed as Brian conducted a smooth and enjoyable sail. The views were beautiful and the boat is very comfortable. Only 4 people were on our sail (Max is 6) which is MUCH better than the larger... More

This was our second sailing adventure with Brian on Prevailing Winds. He is such a knowledgeable historian on all things past and present concerning Charleston which just adds so much to any trip. His sailboat is comfortable and his sailing skills are excellent, allowing you to just relax and enjoy the scenery. I highly recommend any of his available trips.... More

This had to be one of the most beautiful Charleston summer nights enhanced even more by a fabulous sailing with Brian on "Prevailing Winds". So incredibly relaxing with gorgeous views in every direction. Lots of Dolphin out to greet us and, most importantly, a small intimate group of 6. So much better than the big, overcrowded tourist boats. Thanks Brian.... More

Relaxing time on the water! Our captain was very friendly and easy to talk with. I enjoyed the sail but feel like it was a bit pricey.
