My friends & took a small tour around the island. It is perhaps the cleanest part of South Carolina. It's landscape is impressive & the people are generally nice. Great sports facilities

We had a wonderful time while on Daniel Island. Lots of places to eat and things to do. Very close (driving) to downtown Charleston. Well worth the visit and/or stay on the 'island'

We just loved Daniel Island, with herons and deer everywhere. As outsiders/visitors, it felt like a very very upscale community, with cars sharing the road with golf carts. Parks and greenery everywhere, it's offers secluded areas for nice walks, complemented with a one mile row of decent restaurants. Life seems very slow here, no one in a hurry, very scenic... More

Daniel Island is the best of what Charleston has to offer. Visited while at the Scottish Games at Mount Pleasant. Had just see the mini series North & South so it was fresh in our minds. Beautiful outing and lots to see. Not really an attraction but a great afternoon

Very well laid out, reminds one of the Desperate House wives set, very clean. Queen Anne's Revenge is a good place to grab a meal.

This was a wonderful place to visit. Clean, quiet, visually attractive and well manicured. I enjoyed my time there for the Family Circle Cup.

Amazing shopping, tennis, and beautiful! What a fabulous planned community - wish I could move here! Reminds me of a mini family oriented convenient Palmetto Bluff! Old Charleston charm all shiny and new!

Beautiful, lengthy, shaded walking trail gives great river views. It is adjacent to a dog park and a playground (with a zipline!!) which is a huge hit for my 3 & 5 year old. Only negative is the lack of restrooms in the immediate vicinity of the playground.
