Description: Charleston Culinary Tours combine the best of Charleston history...
Charleston Culinary Tours combine the best of Charleston history, cocktails and food with unique tours that highlight the Lowcountry. Each Charleston Culinary Tour visits several different restaurants, bars or the Farmer's Market to combine elements of a historical tour with a culinary adventure. The food and drinks on the tours are chosen by various restaurant and bar partners and feature an array of eclectic dishes and concoctions that provide insight into Charleston's cuisine and cocktail scene. On each tour, you will not only have an opportunity to sample some of the Lowcountry's finest offerings, but also to meet the owners, chefs and mixologists behind Charleston's impressive culinary and bar innovations. Five Tours Available:Historic Downtown, Upper King Street, Chefs' Kitchen, The Farmer's Market and Mixology Tour. As most tours sell out, all reservations are required in advance. Groups need to be booked at least three days prior to tour. Each tour is limited in size. Charleston Culinary Tours are held rain or shine.

Awesome idea for a tour and good guide. He could have been more attentive to the whole group, but loved the Farmer's Market and picking out foods and having time to shop there on our own. Chefs were amazing!!! Delish food dishes. My only complaint - i would rate them 4 1/2 stars - was that we were told as... More

This begins at the Farmer's Market in Marion Square where we selected produce that was sent ahead to the restaurant. We walked to the restaurant, and our food was served as a five-course brunch. That's what we did, but here's what made it special and worth more than it cost: On the walk to the restaurant we got not only... More

The downtown tour let us sample many of the restaurants and learn about other better ones. Every meal after was excellent because of the advice we received.

Loved the tour, guide and food were great, more than enough to fill you up and get a sense of the kinds of food available in Charleston. I also appreciated that the guide included some interesting Charleston facts along the way so you also got a bit of history along the way. She also provided us with some other tips... More

We took the Upper King Street tour with Charleston Culinary Tours. Had a great time visiting new restaurants and getting to taste some great food. Highly recommend going, you'll have a great time. The Upper King Street tour is easily accessible from the free King Street shuttles.

What a wonderful tour in Charleston. This was our second food tour with Hoon Calhoun. Hoon is a true gem of Charleston! Our family had such a wonderful time! Hoon had us in stitches. So entertaining and informative. The chefs and food was wonderful too. I would highly recommend the chef's tour just to spend the morning with Hoon Calhoun!

Just finished the culinary tour, and highly recommend to any "foodie", or just anyone interested in places to chow down/drink up in Charleston. Glenn was an easy going tour guide, and well informed. Trust me on this.......the tour will fill you up!!. Bon Appetit.

The group of 14 met our tour guide Susan, at HOM restaurant. There we began with a vegetarian fritter, chicken sausage sandwich and clams. It would have been nice to hear from someone about their ingredients and cooking style. From there we went to R House. This was a tiny little house that does not advertise their restaurant at all.... We did the chef's kitchen tour with Hoon. He knows the area so well and his stories are very entertaining. Wish we could have spent more time listening to him tell us about his beloved city. So glad our friends recommended him!!!
