This was the best tour we did! First, the guide was VERY intelligent and effortlessly weaved historical details in with the mythology of pirate lore. He talked about trade impacts, etc. that really painted a full picture regarding why pirates came to exist, why they were doing what they were doing and how it ended up. The depth of knowledge... Very entertaining, learn a lot about pirate. Would have joined the ghost tour too if I had more time there!

I was worried that this might be somewhat hokey but nonetheless entertaining for our grandkids -- in fact, it was great fun and we learned a lot about the history of piracy and how it was an important phenomenon in the Charleston area. It involved a walking tour in which Eric the guide also did a lot of teaching about... More

This was an exciting, fun and historically informative tour. The guide dressed as a pirate and provided so many stories, facts and dates in pirate history. I recommend it to anyone. It was a slow walk and easy to do on flat ground. Take the tour and enjoy it as much as we did.

While visiting Charleston for a wedding, we decided to do a ghost tour. We met at 7:30pm and enjoyed our walk around the beautiful city. Thanks for a great experience!

Three of us, two adults, one teen took the Pirate/Ghost tour Saturday evening. It was really well done. Eric was very knowledgable and we could have listened to many more stories and historical events. I would do this tour again!!

This was a wonderful tour! Pirate history in a way that even my "non history" family enjoyed with me! This is a true "must do" while you are visiting Charleston.

Our tour guide, Ro Ro was very knowledgeable in Charleston history. I was born and raised here and trust me, she knew her history. Great personality as well, and interacted with her guest and made them feel very welcomed in our great city. I was with my 12 yr old son and he learned a lot of history that he... More
