This 1.5 hour tour was informative about the pirate history of Charleston, SC. Guide was knowledgeable and kept a 3 and 6 year olds attention during the tour. I would have like to hear more information about the rest of Charleston too, but this is not really billed as such. Learned interesting info about Blackbeard, and even female pirates.

Sabrina was our tour guide. She is a fabulous storyteller with a great sense of humor and she really knows her stuff! The tour took us past the old Exchange, to the seafront and into alley streets. We took our four children with us on this tour. Our three teenage daughters really enjoyed it, but the ghost part was a... More

Wish history had been this much fun when I was in school. Lots... And I mean lots... of information, but Eric was such a good storyteller and had such a great sense of humor, it was completely painless. Wow, this guy knows a lot of history... He 's a walking encyclopedia. Eric was happy to answer questions about everything, not... More

My mother and I had researched things to do while visiting Charleston and the Pirate Tour looked like something we would really enjoy, and that we did! Eric is very knowledge about pirates and the history of them in SC. The way he told the stories were intriguing, entertaining and informative. We really enjoyed strolling through the streets and learning... More

After reading reviews here I booked a tour. We took the early morning tour. Eric is very knowledgable in pirate history of the area. Bob his Macaw adds to the fun. Eric's presentation and description's brought his characters to life. We felt like we were transported back in time. We recommend highly.

My 16 year old son and I attended Eric's Ghost and Pirate tour and thoroughly enjoyed his presentation and knowledge about the City. He kept us entertained and moving along. My son exclaimed that he thought it might be another boring tour and he was impressed that it was not boring and was fun and informative for him. Only thing... More

I gave this 5 stars because this tour is full of pirate information. You walk down very old streets amid old buildings with history of their own. The walk to the waterfront was very enjoyable as were the stories. Sabrina, our host was very informed, however, I do not think very young children would have enjoyed our tour. The entire... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review, and thank you for the 5 stars. I'm glad that you enjoyed the stories and the walk. I'm sorry that you felt the tour was too long. There is a tremendous amount of pirate history in Charleston... in fact, we don't even cover several of the pirates who came here!... More

We had such fun on the pirate & ghost tour. It was the highlight of our trip. All of my friends agree that our guide, Sabrina, was awesome. Not only did she give a great tour, she was happy to answer a bunch of our questions after the tour about other things to do and places to eat. We followed... More

Took this tour with the wife and 2 kids (tween and teen), and we all had a wonderfully time. The guide has a great sense of humor in addition to being an expert on Charleston history. The kids haven't stopped talking about...especially the part about Stede Bonnet wearing a dress to escape!

My husband and I had a great time learning about Charleston's pirate history. We were amazed that there was so much! Makes sense, though, given Charleston was a port town. This is the tour that really demonstrates that Cvil War is just a tiny part of this city's history. Amazing to see 1680s circa buildings.

We love sharing Charleston's Colonial history with our guests! Charleston is so identified with the Civil War that a lot of people miss our very interesting, earlier history. Charleston played an integral role in US Colonial and Revolutionary history! We're very happy that you enjoyed the tour and appreciate the review. Sabrina More
