This was an exciting, fun and historically informative tour. The guide dressed as a pirate and provided so many stories, facts and dates in pirate history. I recommend it to anyone. It was a slow walk and easy to do on flat ground. Take the tour and enjoy it as much as we did.

While visiting Charleston for a wedding, we decided to do a ghost tour. We met at 7:30pm and enjoyed our walk around the beautiful city. Thanks for a great experience!

Three of us, two adults, one teen took the Pirate/Ghost tour Saturday evening. It was really well done. Eric was very knowledgable and we could have listened to many more stories and historical events. I would do this tour again!!

This was a wonderful tour! Pirate history in a way that even my "non history" family enjoyed with me! This is a true "must do" while you are visiting Charleston.

Our tour guide, Ro Ro was very knowledgeable in Charleston history. I was born and raised here and trust me, she knew her history. Great personality as well, and interacted with her guest and made them feel very welcomed in our great city. I was with my 12 yr old son and he learned a lot of history that he... More

We were visiting our sister city as we are tour guides from savannah and found this tour! We loved our guide...she was fun filled with truths and ghost stories..all decked out in pirate gear!...bringing us to key spots in the city! All in all a 5 star experience. We went at night but day or night..clearly this is the tour... More

I went on the ghosts, gullah, and pirate tour. It was fascinating. I had Sabrina and she was so informative! I thought this was wonderful tour, I just wish it went on longer (it was long enough a full 90 minuets I was just so lost in her stories it went by too quickly). Also it made me want to... More

Our family of four joined a small tour group (less than a dozen other people) for a fascinating combination of pirate lore and ghostly encounters just as the sun set on the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon, where our tour began. Eric, our pirate captain guide, was knowledgeable and funny, speaking without notes. He readily tailored his remarks to take... More

Excellent! We had a lot of fun and learnt a lot about pirates and the way they affected the History there. The tour is fun for adult and kids and different than a traditional guided tour. At the end of the tour all we wanted to do is buy a book and learn even more...

I wish we'd picked either a pirate tour or a ghost tour, the combined tour didn't really fulfill my expectations. We did get a fair amount of Charelstons early history, which was the best part. Personally I would've liked more pirate stories since that was what I was expecting. Can't please everyone I suppose. Our pirate tour guide did not... More

I'm sorry that you were expecting something different on the evening tour. However, we are very clear about what each of our tours covers. The evening tour is some pirate combined with Charleston ghost stories... that's why it's called the pirate and ghost tour. We are also very clear about the fact that the parrots do not do the evening... More
