hired captain patrick crawford to take 5 children and myself on tour of charleston harbor for dolphin-watching this morning. felt very comfortable under his direction. he is a natural seafarer and was very patient with the children. offered historical facts, explained environmental concerns amongst the dolphins, fish, and birds. made me want to buy a boat. what a pleasure it... We paid for a tour for 2 and instead we were on one that was for 5 people and watched the captain flirt the whole time with the women on the tour. So very disappointed. Never been so ignored in our lives. He just needed to quit flirting and do his job.

My family was visiting Charleston area and I looked for activities on Groupon. Came across the 2 hour sailing tour for 4 and booked a reservation. The weather was not cooperating for a few days and the staff was very amenable 2 re-booking our reservation-twice. We had a great morning sail with Captain Andrew and my 2 sons helped a... More

Captain Jim Dodge was on time and very friendly. Knew his boat and the area very well. Great conversation, smooth ride and we had a great time. We are not new to the water or excursions of this type so I think we are qaulified to judge this trip. Would go again in a heartbeat! Would also recommend Captain Dodge... More

Excellent day out in the harbor, we went out with Captain Patrick on the dolphin cruise in Charleston. We saw tons of dolphins, even baby ones with their mothers, and you get to go right under the Ravenel Bridge, and he takes you out to Fort Sumter as well. He's a very knowledgeable, friendly guy, and knew a ton about... More

Our Captain (Patrick) was great. He was full of knowledge about Charleston, the wildlife in the harbor and he had a great sense of humor. He was great with the toddler on our cruise and made the trip really fun. We would absolutely take another trip with him and Captain Source Tours again.

We were originally slated for a 7pm "sunset cruise". The weather was not looking good for the booked time so our captain had Captains Source call us and see if we could reschedule for an earlier one. We ended up going out around 6pm and pulled back in as the weather made a turn for the worse. Our captain's foresight... More

I wanted to thank our captain, Patrick, personally. Not only was he productive (we caught a lot of sharks), informative (I learned quite a few things), humorous (especially with tales from winning the reality show "Top Hooker"), but I think most of all I appreciated the patience and coaching he showed my son, Joshua. He made it a truly special... More

Better! Not totally sure what to expect, first time to Charleston and first boat tour! We were two of six people, they were a great group! Having watched Top Hooker we recognized our Captain Patrick which also made something to write home about! So exciting! We learned a great deal of history, saw lots of dolphins and enjoyed a beautiful... More

This was our second time using Captains Source for a fishing trip with my 9 year old. Could not have had a better experience. We started by catching all our bait fish about 50 in 10 minutes, then went on to catch 2 Redfish, one of them 45 lbs and 6 Sharks all but one was too big to bring... More
